About this ebook
Ann Scheck
Ann Scheck was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1939. She graduated from Hood College in 1961 after being required to take creative writing twice because her writing was trite. Life took care of that and nobody was more surprised than she was when she began writing poetry in 1995. Over the years, Ann has worked as a teacher, director, clown, massage therapist and Reiki master. She is mother and grandmother to four wonderful people. She is a widow and currently lives in Baltimore with her daughter and family.

This work is dedicated to my late husband, Bob Scheck, whose life and
death inspired many of these poems. My thanks to family
and friends for their encouragement and to the
Kindred Spirits
who acted as midwives for this book.
Many thanks to Lexi without whom this
book could not have been in print.
