Naked except for black satin mask, black lace gloves and matching six-inch stilettos, Chloe reclined on the chaise longue in her converted second bedroom and smiled as the tall, slightly podgy man on her computer screen adjusted the position of his webcam. She blew him a kiss when he looked directly back at her, seeming satisfied with the view of her on his screen at the other end.

Did you have a good week? she asked.

Yes, Mistress Ophelia. Brennan’s voice filled the room, startling her.
