High Speed Curves - Meghan Alexis Moore

    Author’s Note

Readers have often asked about my character Fiona Fuller, the best friend of Samantha McMillan, the heroine in Curves for the Billionaire.

Some characters lend themselves to full length novels; others never reveal much of themselves.  Fiona was a character whose skin I couldn’t get under, so I’d never intended her story to be more than a very raunchy erotica short.  However, with so many platforms banning or blocking my erotica, I’ve decided on a slightly softer approach.

In effect this story is an extended epilogue, giving a brief update on the two main characters in Curves for the Billionaire while satisfying the desires of the readers who met and loved Fiona in that story and wanted her to have her very own happy ever after.

I’m hoping that this story will be offered for free wherever possible.

    Chapter One

    ––––––––

Designer Fiona Fuller stood back and looked critically at the pink and turquoise corset on the dressmaker’s dummy.

She shook her head slowly from side to side.

    Something was missing.

It was sexy but needed a certain je ne sais quoi to take it to the next level.

It didn’t yet have the Fuller Fabulous factor.

    She smiled.

A critic at a fashion show had once asked her if it was her surname or her size which had influenced her decision to design garments for larger women.  She had laughed because the question had been asked in such a condescending manner it had been clearly intended as an insult.

It always surprised her that people objected so strongly to having larger women sashay down a runway, especially when her models were confident, sexy women who showcased her designs to perfection.

The only reason she hadn’t used her first name when she’d finally decided to give her brand a label a few years ago was the fact that her Google search had thrown up an interior designer with the same name.

She hadn’t started designing clothing for larger women just because she herself was fuller figured or because for too long designers had refused to acknowledge that real women came in all sizes.

No, what had driven her to abandon her medical degree after the first year and pursue fashion design was the total lack of sexy clothes for women size sixteen and over.

There had been a point in her life when she had been grateful if anything she tried on in a store fitted her, no matter how hideous.  But in that first year at university as she’d dutifully attended the lectures to follow in both of her parents’ footsteps, she’d daydreamed about creating beautiful garments that would flatter fuller figures rather than made them look frumpy as many of the clothes she bought made her feel.

Her friend Samantha McMillan who had been on the same degree course had persuaded her to pursue her dream, although it had meant that they would no longer share lectures and see each other as often.  For both of them that had been the hardest part of her decision.  Like Fiona, Samantha had been an only child and they had bonded as close as sisters in the relatively short space of time that they’d known each other.
