Where I come from, my full name is Edak D’aelse Drygalste, but here, on Earth, I tell people my name is Jim, because is really hard for them to remember my real name. Not even Edak, which isn’t that long or hard. When we first came here, my mates and I, we didn’t even understand the languages. You see, on our planet there’s only one way of communication, telepathy. We communicate with images, mostly. On Earth we learned Spanish, French, and German, before we discovered that English is known almost all over the planet. Comparing them with our method, these languages are difficult to learn, especially for an alien race which uses very few sounds or words.

At first, there were ten of us, but we decided to disperse around this world to have better luck with our mission. Kuoq'osky – Abby on Earth –, Xupohr – Dan – and I are the ones who remained in America. The reason we came here is very simple. The atmosphere on our planet became too toxic for us to reproduce. I mean, it is possible, but it’s very hard. It takes one of our females years, even decades to conceive. Of course it’s not all their faults. Males have problems, too.

Earth’s environment is very benefic for our kind. Sure, the fact that our females can get pregnant through their asses and mouths might be helpful, too. Throughout the years, on our planet, we had to adapt so our spices could survive, so Nature developed our bodies – males and females alike.
