What makes the EQ Marketing Method different?
I am sure you have heard this before. You need to post daily, at least one piece of content daily. Even better if you post hundred pieces of content daily. I am sure you have seen those 20 captions that will boost your engagement
kind of products. You may have heard about the tactic that you need to like, comment on other people's posts so they will eventually come back to you and follow you. And do not get me started on follow-unfollow.
Now, what's the issue with these kinds of tactics? I'm not saying they don't work. In fact, they work tremendously if you keep hustling with them, but you and I both know that's not what made these experts successful. That's not what made them stand out of the marketplace on social media. That's not what attracted their dream customers.
What most people teach you about social media marketing is how you can manufacture and publish as many contents as possible. Eventually, they are teaching you how to be a publisher, not an entrepreneur. What this method creates is something that's not authentic. I mean, think about the last time that you have seen someone's YouTube video, and you realized it was just a recording from a seminar. You were disappointed right? It wasn't made for you. It was just made to get engagement, get comments, just to push their brand.
What is extremely dangerous with this kind of business model is that it teaches you the hustle mentality. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with hustle mentality, but if everyone does the same thing, it will be very hard to stand out in the marketplace because social media will become saturated.
My goal with this book is to teach you the basics of social media marketing and how you can become unique before you use the strategies. After you have learned the EQ Marketing Method from this book, then you can use any strategy that you find online, because once you know what will make people follow you, engage with your content and eventually buy your products or services you can save yourself years of trial and error.
