Tirza Schaefer

Tirza Schaefer was born in Cologne (Köln), Germany. After she graduated from school, where she qualified in German “Abitur” and also attained proficiency in English and Latin (she also studied French for two years and Russian for one), she moved to the United Kingdom in 1991 and lived there for the next eight years. She first started to study for a BA Combined at SOAS (School of Oriental & African Studies, London University) in Comparative Religious Studies & Indonesian Studies, then changed to The London Metropolitan University, and graduated in an HND in Leisure and Tourism Studies and a BA in Tourism Studies with Marketing.. She moved back to Germany in 1999 to embark on a new adventure: being a mother of three wonderful children. At the beginning of 2015, Tirza started to publish her books, and with currently over 30 published, continuously working on more, she is a creative hothouse. In April 2017, an Arabian Mau cat called Taani from Dubai joined the family. In 2018 and 2019, she founded Goddess Reiki, and loves to write about and work with Goddess archetypes to explore her psyche and help clients in this process with their self-development. To this day, despite her many academic achievements, her many talents and skills, Tirza Schaefer has a progressive personality and always strives to expand herself in many areas. Austin sat at a table with a strange woman he’d just introduced himself to and had a wonderful conversation. She smiled, was attentive and had something to say for herself. He realized, he’d opened up to her more than he’d ever done with anyone else before, as if she was a therapist or a close friend with an objective view, rather than a potential lover for the night, which had been his initial intention for her when he’d first approached her.

She had laughed and told him, his pickup line sucked, however, he was welcome to join her for a chat nonetheless and he had taken her up on the offer. Now he was talking about his darkest, innermost secrets to her.

When he realized what he was doing, she reached across the table and squeezed his hand.

"I am a healer. People tell me things and often release a lot of baggage in the process. It’s completely confidential and non-judgmental. You needn’t worry. I do this professionally as well. I listen and I don’t judge. Don’t start judging yourself now. You’re a Navy Seal and you have a job that is much more demanding than most others.

You can’t talk about details because they are classified information on the one hand and on the other, most people cannot relate and it might shock and alienate them. I know the set of problems people in your line of work face. You need to calm down the judging part, however, forget that you initially just wanted to get laid for the night, and trust in your higher power that all is perfect the way it was meant to be. Nothing happens without a reason, and it’s a good idea to go with the flow. You can just relax and tell me whatever needs to come out, I’m here to listen.

Austin frowned at her hand and then looked up at her.

Why is your hand so burning hot? Do you have a fever? Are you sick? he asked her.

She smiled at him and shook her head.

The physical temperature is perfectly normal. What you feel is healing energy. Some feel it as heat, some as cold, some as a tingling sensation, some not at all. In any case, it’s nothing to be afraid of. It is energy guided by the divine intelligence and not me. I am merely the channel, so it’s clean and positive. It flows where it’s needed. But I can tell you’re breathing more easily now.

Austin was surprised at the fact that she was right and he hadn’t even noticed it himself before.

You’re actually right. But I didn’t come here to have some supernatural healing session. I’m sorry. I even forgot your name...

He pulled an apologetic face.

My name is Haylee.

Thank God, she was still smiling and not offended.

You came to pick up, she smiled, making him feel uncomfortable. I said no judgment. Whenever you’re done talking to me, you’re free to pick up a woman to spend the night with.

This meant it wasn’t going to be her. Damn, she was really cute, but now that she knew so much about him and she’d been so kind, he didn’t feel comfortable with taking her for the night and just leaving her in the morning, anyway. She had gained his respect and she was a person who helped others. His conscience told him, she deserved better. And she deserved the truth.

I did come over and speak to you because I had intended to try my luck with you, he admitted.

I know. You needed an initial point of attraction to speak to me.

Woman, I have no idea what your problem is, but you should accept the fact that you are smoking hot!

He’d felt that she didn’t see herself that way and he felt he needed to tell her this, boost her self-confidence in her looks and personality. Besides, it was true. Haylee’s face cracked for a moment. Her eyes travelled down his chest and belly for an instant but just has soon, her eyes shaded over again, the spark was gone and he knew he’d lost. Even had he still wanted to bed her – which okay, he wasn’t sure, if he could turn her down, if she now said, she wanted to, she had no intention to do so. She didn’t think, she was a match for him. He sighed and rose. She might be a healer, but he wasn’t so good and he didn’t want to waste his or her time. Back to hunting, he thought.
