Ricarda, the goddaughter of a US Army General, works for the NSA. Usually she sits at desks to catch criminals, but now she has been assigned on a field trip. Tirza Schaefer

Tirza Schaefer was born in Cologne (Köln), Germany. After she graduated from school, where she qualified in German “Abitur” and also attained proficiency in English and Latin (she also studied French for two years and Russian for one), she moved to the United Kingdom in 1991 and lived there for the next eight years. She first started to study for a BA Combined at SOAS (School of Oriental & African Studies, London University) in Comparative Religious Studies & Indonesian Studies, then changed to The London Metropolitan University, and graduated in an HND in Leisure and Tourism Studies and a BA in Tourism Studies with Marketing.. She moved back to Germany in 1999 to embark on a new adventure: being a mother of three wonderful children. At the beginning of 2015, Tirza started to publish her books, and with currently over 30 published, continuously working on more, she is a creative hothouse. In April 2017, an Arabian Mau cat called Taani from Dubai joined the family. In 2018 and 2019, she founded Goddess Reiki, and loves to write about and work with Goddess archetypes to explore her psyche and help clients in this process with their self-development. To this day, despite her many academic achievements, her many talents and skills, Tirza Schaefer has a progressive personality and always strives to expand herself in many areas. Luis returned to his team with an ashen face.

What’s wrong, man? You look like you’ve seen a ghost. He didn’t throw you out, did he? The general has nothing against you and he’d have to go through the admiral anyhow...

Rob had jumped to his feet and looked at his superior, the leader of their little team, with concern. Nothing ever shook Luis and for him to return from a meeting with a general in such shape scared his men.

Much worse, Luis said and sat down heavily. I’ve got an assignment with an NSA agent. Just the two of us, undercover!

What? Where? Why can’t we go? Rob prodded.

We’ll be in a godforsaken tourist spot in Mexico, close to the border. Cortez, that drug baron has moved up there. And I’m supposed to pose as the woman’s husband. I’m afraid you’ve got a pair of big, hairy balls, Rob. You can’t be my wife in public. And I can’t pretend to be on a honeymoon going all gaga-eyed over your fat ass!

The men sniggered at the joke, but no one really laughed. Rob was as fit as the rest of them, but he was a tall, muscular and very masculine man, just like the rest. The idea of him posing as a woman was more than ludicrous. They knew fully well what Luis thought of women in the line of fire, least of all working with them under such conditions, and they all felt, he had a point.

She that ugly, huh? Rob asked. Because otherwise, I don’t see what’s wrong with getting some pussy on a job, government-sanctioned.

Luis cast him a dark glance that froze Rob’s mouth shut.

I’m a fucking Marine SpecOps officer, not a goddamn American answer for new-agers to fucking James Bond! Besides, I’m supposed to pretend to get pussy and not actually getting any! Although, if you knew who that woman was, you’d thank your lucky stars you’re not assigned to this job!

She must be a lesbian, if she doesn’t go all gaga over you! Jesse grinned. Nothing against them, but which other woman would not melt into a puddle at our commander’s feet!

This elicited some more supportive comments about Luis’ effect on the fairer sex.

No, it’s fucking Paris Hilton, Luis growled. I don’t know if she’s into girls, but quite frankly, I can’t imagine her having sex with anyone, not even a damn vibrator. That look of hers makes hell freeze over, I swear! She made my big, hairy balls shrivel up with one stare!

He shuddered at the memory of those cold grey-blue eyes.

Probably a black widow or something, Ken muttered. They’re bad news, man. They tear off the males’ heads after mating and eat them alive.

No one protested on the grounds that one couldn’t be alive anymore with their heads torn off. It was a minor detail they all chose to ignore.

Yeah, Medusa has nothing on her, Luis agreed.

The men commiserated with their commander and they all went for drinks. Luis didn’t stay long, however. He had some shopping to do early the next morning and then leave for the airport and meet Medusa for a fun holiday of two weeks pretending he was her husband and trying not to get frozen into a stalactite or have his balls cut off while he was sleeping.

He spent the rest of the evening studying their fake history of how they had met and what their jobs were, etc. Thankfully, it had been deemed easier for such short term learning that the woman held an office job as typist and was looking forward to being a full time wife and mother after the wedding.

Less to learn, but oh, she had been furious about that! And when he’d said that was a woman after his liking, he could have sworn, she had implanted invisible poison arrows in her eyes that darted at him like the rounds of a machine gun being fired off. He was still cursing the general by the time he fell asleep.

Chapter 1

Complications & Cat-Wailing

U ncle Richard, you can’t be serious! That pompous, arrogant, badass Marine?! Pullleassseee! I’m not going on this mission with him! Have you actually seen him? He thinks he’s God’s gift to humanity, not to mention to womanhood!

She stood, legs apart, in front of the general, glaring at him with squared shoulders.

He’s the best we have, the general explained irritably for the tenth time that day.

God save America! Ricarda hissed.

Now don’t you blaspheme, the general admonished her, but his voice lacked the conviction of his words. You couldn’t be safer with anyone but him. You’re my godchild and your father would never forgive me if I let anything bad happen to you! If you get into any kind of trouble, you’ll get down and let him handle the heat. He’s a total pro at his job!

Oh, he’s a badass bodyguard, too? Maybe I should practice my singing! And Iiiiiii...will always love youuuuuu...
