Cloud Nine - Tirza Schaefer
Dedication
Idedicate this book to all those who are misunderstood, outcast, misfits, those that are different and are being judged and condemned for superficial, meaningless criteria. Those that are not given an opportunity because they don’t fit in like everyone else.
Know that you are unique and special. You may not have the latest designer wear, you may not be a size zero or have a particular skin colour or whatever. Doesn’t mean you are less worthy than anyone else. It doesn’t mean, you are less intelligent, less skilled or less capable. It doesn’t mean you are less trustworthy and less beautiful or less anything else.
You are beautiful, unique and special. You have a vision that is worth pursuing, worth exploring. Your voice is worth being heard, your eyes are worth being looked into, your soul is still shining and anyone who cannot see the divine light you are is not someone you want to have around you.
Show your strength, your independence and your dedication, but also your compassion, your interest in others and your appreciation of the things and people in your life that add quality to it.
You are loved and appreciated. Life wouldn’t be the same without you!
Thank you for adding your unique colour and flavour to the mix of life to make it so colourful and bright.

How Picasso Makes You A Genius
Prologue
Missing Length
Dana was running as fast as she could with her huge suitcase. The wheels caught in something and she was jerked backwards, whirled and hit a long row of moving trolleys that a member of staff was pushing towards the collection points outside. Her jeans got caught in a bit of steel that stood out from the frame and tore, leaving her standing with one side of her behind and thigh exposed. Quickly, she took off her short jacket and held it to cover the tear.
There was no way she could board the plane like this. The problem was, the key to the lock of her suitcase had broken and she could not open it now. She needed to ask for assistance at the hotel in LA. This also meant, she could not get to her clothes. Where would she get new pants for the flight from?
Frantically she looked around and discovered a clothes shop. Unfortunately, she could not afford any of the jeans there, but then the sales assistant found a skirt that was discounted. Dana found that the skirt wasn’t only discounted, it was also missing at least half of its length.
Excuse me, where is the rest, please?
It is this short, madam,
the sales assistant sniffed.
You are NOT serious,
Dana groaned.
You don’t have to buy it,
the young girl said like she didn’t care whether Dana lived or died.
Five minutes and a very short skirt later, Dana skittered to a halt at the end of the queue for desk number seven, frantically trying to somewhat pull down the skirt. It felt as if her butt was exposed and she was wearing only a red lace string underneath!
The announcement sounded professional and no nonsense. Dana had never thought, she would remember it later as the all-out life changing moment in her personal history...
Ladies and gentlemen, due to a technical problem, counter number seven will be closed now. Will you please all move to counter number eight instead. Thank you.
Dana changed over, coming to stand behind a young man who had rushed in front of her but was now searching frantically for his passport. Dana smiled rather coldly and walked past him up to the counter.
Good morning, ma’am. Unfortunately, there has been a problem with our system and tourist class has been overbooked...
I need to get on that flight,
Dana interrupted in a state of defensive panic.
Of course, madam. But I hope, you won’t mind being upgraded from tourist class to first class? There is a seat free and the lady behind you cannot be separated from her children, naturally, so she would require your seat.
The lady in question had moved behind Dana in the row of queuing passengers, clutching luggage and small children, trying to keep it all together and looking very stressed. The young man stood on the side and was emptying his men’s wallet on the floor to search for his papers.
Oh, of course, I don’t mind giving up my seat for the children, as long as I get to go on that plane. - Did you say first class?!
Chapter 1
A Book & Its Cover
Weston Ashville leaned back in his seat to allow a woman through the flight attendant had just shown to her seat on the outer side of his. Long blonde hair and blue eyes were set off against a small nose and full, inviting lips. At the same time, he noted that her skirt was way too short and a size too small for comfort.
The woman was definitely not rich enough to travel in first class and not fashion-conscious enough to choose something flattering. The skirt looked cheap, not only in financial terms, and her top did not go with the skirt at all. She sat down while trying to hold the skirt down as best as she could.
She froze when she found him staring at her. Weston looked away. The woman tried to wiggle her skirt down again as unobtrusively as she could manage. She didn’t manage at all! But it looked kind of cute to see her trying.
Suddenly Weston felt eyes trained on him and looked across the aisle to his
