Father, we thank you or all you are. We express our sincere gratitude to you for your salvation and Jesus who is the Christ. Just thank you. Your word says to enter into your gates with thanksgiving and into Your courts with praise. We are indeed thankful to you dear God – bless your holy name. We give you thanks for the following:

Dr. Rosie Milligan, as my editor, who is so efficiently leading and guiding me in the writing, as well as printing of the book, Deliverance from Depression, Fear, and Stress.

Father, we thank you for supplying information, which makes it possible to be delivered from depression, etc. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving our souls and for the following

Thank you for worshipping;

Your holy word, which is a lamp unto our feet and light unto our paths;

For healings—deliverance from gout, lupus, depression, and prolonged pain;

Deliverance from smoking cigarettes 55 years ago.

Thank you for the shed blood of Jesus, His resurrection from the dead, and His prayers for us at the right side of the Father.

Introduction

My main reason for writing this book is that my wife suffered from Bipolar. Bipolar is a major depressive disorder.

Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and the ability to carry out daily tasks. Symptoms of bipolar disorder can be severe. They are different from the normal ups and downs that everyone goes through from time to time.

Bipolar disorder symptoms can result in damaged relationships, poor job or school performance, and even suicide. But bipolar disorder can be treated, and people with this illness can lead full and productive lives.

Bipolar disorder often appears in the late teens or early adult years. At least half of all cases start before age 25.

Some people have their first symptoms during childhood, while others may develop symptoms late in life.

Bipolar disorder is not easy to spot when it starts. Some people suffer for years before they are properly diagnosed and treated. Like diabetes or heart disease, bipolar disorder is a long-term illness that must be carefully managed throughout your life.

I pen this book in hope that Christians will understand that depression and mental illness occur in Christians, too, and we need to know the symptoms and we must not be ashamed to seek professional help as well as spiritual help and guidance. If I had known then, what I know now I could have operated differently. It is my prayer that what I am sharing with you the readers will spare you the pain I suffered. Having more knowledge I would have been more able to help my dear wife come out of the depression. I watched her suffer in and out of the hospital, seeing multiple doctors. She tried many medications; the only one that seemed to help was the one that was given her to combat hearing spirits. On the other hand, nothing seemed to have worked.

As her husband and a man of God, her pastor, I had to struggle along with her, trying many different medications that did not work. It was unbearable from day to day.

On many occasions, she complained and talked about taking her life, and she did end her own life. This was a painful time in my life. During the time of her struggle, while using the doctor’s prescriptions, Biblical prescriptions were available all the time. Again, I am sharing my personal experience so that no one will ever have to suffer through such ordeal as I suffered. My wife’s death was a horrible thing to have to go through. God’s Word is a prescription and we can bevv healed from any and all diseases via using God’s Word. Such has been proven time and time again. God’s Word is not likened unto a Fairy Tale, like once upon a time God did this or that—God’s Word is true for evermore, and His Word is the best prescription. Please know that I am by no means saying to you to avoid medical treatments because we are all at a different level of
