I dedicate this book to the Saints who daily take the heart of Christ into their prayer closets. You stand in the gap for the nations. You have held back the sword from the necks of the martyrs in lands you will only visit in prayer. You have prayed in the meals for hungry children in lands all but forgotten. For the lonely, you have prayed comfort. For the ill, you have prayed healing. For the misguided, you have prayed them home. In a world which cultivates an only about me mindset, you have stood hand in hand with the Savior at the throne of Grace.

Though you may never stand on a platform, you have been responsible for the prayers of protection and comfort for thousands because you have held their pastors up in prayer. When so many are quick to offer words of condemnation, curses, and defeat, you have faithfully knelt to provide the name of Jesus.

You have learned the power of that name, and you are responsible for this book coming alive.

    My Testimony Of Prayer

Coming off the brink of my addiction 25 years ago was no easy task.

    I Needed God.

My testimony of Prayer was praying was the only way l connected to the source of my deliverance. Often as a new convert, we deal with all type of insecurities and dilemmas. At any time, you can step back into your addiction, which I did on many occasions, but when I finally realized that prayer works if you work prayer, that brought me a supernatural breakthrough. Prayer was my strength to overcome the almost catastrophic moments in my life.

I have written in my previous books of my testimony but in this particular book, Supernatural Breakthrough, I would like to expound on how prayer change my life.

Starting off not to sound too deep whereas I’m so heavenly bound and still at this point I was no good for myself or anybody else until I’ve got connected with God. The struggle was real and yet still today after almost 25 years of being delivered I still feel that I don’t pray enough, with that being said, we can’t get enough prayer, because prayer brings the power. Prayer brings deliverance and prayer brings restoration. Beloved If the man doesn’t pray, he won’t stay in the will of God. I often tell people I walked a mile in their shoes of relapses and It’s because of prayer that I had the strength to move above the pitfalls of life. It was the connection with God that prayer provided. We need to connect with God daily.

As a new convert, it is as serious as a baby’s formula. A newborn Christian cannot survive without prayer, and even a mature Christian cannot maintain his or her life without practicing prayer.

The Bible says the very fervent prayer of the righteous man avails much, and we know to avail means to use or take advantage of (an opportunity or available resource.) In this case, we take advantage of the opportunity and the resource of the Holy Spirit, and it is for every believer.

The Holy Spirit is a provision to righteous. In my best words I would describe the Holy Spirit as a liaison between a man and God, and as we study Scripture, we understand that the Holy Spirit the third person of the Godhead now think about the word liaison it is communication or cooperation that facilitates a close working relationship between people or organizations.

Let’s look at the word facilitate. It means to make (an action or process) easy or more accessible, and when we pray in the spirit, there is a supernatural release of power. Prayer not only changes things, but it also changes situations and circumstances. To have a strong family, you must be a family that prays. To have a strong marriage, you must be committed and dedicated to prayer. Prayer facilitates power in the family when trouble arises and when communication is needed. Such as comfort advice wisdom and direction the Holy Spirit facilitates answers through fervent prayer.

The Bible says that man was always to pray and to pray without ceasing. How many of us only pray just to get out of what we are in? Most the time we panic because we are confronted with the results of our sin.

In my testimony of prayer, I can testify this was me at different times in my life. Praying just to get by or to escape the consequences of my actions. My reason for praying was to get out of a situation. The difference in my prayers now is that I pray for the sake of my relationship and connection with God.

I can recall back in the early years of ministry how my prayer habits were at their peak. I recall how I would go in my bedchamber and cry out to God concerning my restoration. I would cry out to God for deliverance, and He did that, I cried out to God on behalf of my marriage and He restored that, I cried out to God on behalf of my children and He honored that. With that being said, every time I would get serious about prayer God would move on my behalf. God moved in the care all of my ministries.

In 1994, God was dealing with me concerning ministry and it was during prayer in the midst of my calling when I began to experience a supernatural breakthrough. I was pretty much crying outer court prayers, and stayed mostly on the outer courts repenting for the same old thing, praying for God to move on a certain thing for a certain situation, but I was failing with religious prayers. I finally realized that we have to pray for a relationship and it is from that relationship situations change. Nothing is too hard for God if we develop a praying spirit.

To pray in the power of the Holy Spirit brings birth not only a ministry but a church plant. Prayer, when it has faith, will produce power. In prayer, I started a ministry of home Bible studies. That arm of the ministry began because a few of us disciples decided to pray and seek God’s will for our lives.

The power of prayer birthed Trinity Outreach Ministries and every time we would pray, God provided us with just a few members.

I believe that when we make up our mind to pray serious prayers, repented prayers, intentional prayers, and sanctified prayers God moves. I recall we had outgrown the limited space in my house and moved the ministry to an office building which you could only hold about 40 people comfortably.

It was the power prayer that called us to look at an almost condemned Funeral Home building which the Spirit of the Lord told me to go lay hands on that building and pray life to it. The building was up for sale but it was discovered to have been infested with termites and was deteriorating in need of restoration.

I would like to use this as a parable in comparison to a person who prays. As a person who prays, God will bring you from the valleys
