I love retro classic games and grew up with treasured instruction booklets that told me so much about the stories of the worldsthat we played in. ALEX KIDD IN THE ENCHANTED
CASTLE
History
Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle is a side-scrolling platform game that was developed and published by Sega for their Sega Genesis video game console. Designed and produced by Kotaro Hayashida, Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle was first released in Japan in 1989 following two more releases in Europe during 1990 and in North America in 1991. The game is a fifth installment in the Alex Kidd series and is a direct sequel to the first Alex Kidd game titled Alex Kidd in Miracle World
.
Story
The whole Kidd family is upset! Alex's father, King Thor, is missing!
At home on planet Aries, Alexhearsa rumorthat King Thor'sbeenkidnapped by Ashra, the mean ruler of planet Paperock. Alex speeds to Paperock and starts searchingfor his dad.
But he runs right into trouble. All the creatures on Paperock decide to keep Alex away from Sky Castle, Ashra's hideaway. They block his path and chase him when he tries to getaway. So Alexgetstough! He knowshow to jump, punch, andkick. And he findsout how muchfun it is whenthecreaturesexplode!
Alexuseshispowerwallopson anythingthatgets inhisway.Andthenhe grabsthegold and treasures that magically appear.
But a big surprise is waiting for this Kidd. Alex finds himself dragged into a game of Jankenwith the Paperockbullies. In thisgame, he'sgot to makea handsignalforpaper, scissors,orrockatthesametimeas hisopponent.Ifnot,Alexgetsbonkedoutandloses some of hisgold. Howembarrassing.
Will Alex make it to the Enchanted Castle and find his dad? Or will the smart-aleck Paperocks get a good laugh? It's up to you!

Tips, Tricks, & Trivia
Collect as much gold as you can.
Make sure that you use the items in the Item Selection screen. Always choose the item that is best suited for your situation. If you are not using an item, remember to put it back. Sometimes, you can carry more than one of the same item.
Time your punches and kicks correctly. Watch your enemies and learn how to press the punch button at just the right moment.
The path to some places is not obvious and requires you to explore.
Get a running start in order to jump higher.
Use the suspended ceilings.
Start at an advantage. To begin the game with 4 Lives, 500 coins, and 2 of every item, input the special code. During the intro scene, hold Down + Right + A. Only release once the musicstops.
Difficulty Section
Select the number of Lives Alex will have when the game starts. When you change the number of lives, the difficulty level also changes.
Easy: Alex has 5 lives per game, and his enemies are only moderately mean. Normal: Alexhas 3 lives pergame, and he and the bullies are equallymatched. Hard: Alexhas 1 life pergame, and Paperockers are everywhere!

ALISIA DRAGOON
History
Alisia Dragoon is a single-player platform game that was developed by Game Arts and published by Game Arts in Japan and Sega worldwide for their Sega Genesis console. The game debuted in Japan on the 24th of April 1992 and was released worldwide around a month later on March 30th during the same year. While the game credits Game Arts as the developer, another Japanese animation studio called Gainax collaborated with Game Arts in order to produce Alisia Dragoon.

The Dreaded Awakening
Once again, the silver star fell from the sky, unleashing evil and destruction for the second time.
As Baldour, the prince of all things evil, nears the end of his dormancy, the cocoon in which he rests is transported to Earth by his aide, Ornah. The world is still recovering from the devastating effects of Baldours last visit.

Alisia must find Ornah and the cocoon before Baldour awakens. Use her Thunder Magic to demolishenemies, and summonanyone of the four friendlymonsters to help you. If Baldourawakensbeforeyou can destroythe cocoon, theremay be no more tomorrow...
