FAR CRY 6

A megalomaniacal villain prone to lofty speeches rules the land with an iron fist. A lone hero sparks a rebellion, taking back outposts and defeating the villain’s lieutenants, one by one. Meanwhile, exotic animals routinely burst from the trees and attack anyone in sight. Stop me if this sounds familiar.

Not that familiar is a bad thing. The last few entries in the Far Cry series have settled into something of a formula, and it’s a formula I’ve mostly had a lot of fun with. I haven’t played much of Far Cry 6, only a few hours of a preview build that mostly took place at the start of the game on a small section of the map. But from what I played, it really doesn’t feel like it’s reinvention of the formula. There are some tweaks and changes, but Far Cry
