李魁賢，1937年生。出版《李魁賢詩集》6冊、《李魁賢文集》10冊，《名流詩叢》35冊等，其中《黃昏時刻》有20餘種語文譯本。

Lee Kuei-shien（b. 1937）has published "Collected Poems, 2001 in six volumes, Collected Essays, 2002 in ten volumes, Elite Poetry Series, 2010~2019 in 35 volumes. His book The Hour of Twilight" has more than 20 different language versions.

Leprosy

My all body suffers from leprosy！

you say this word

without a little bit of complaint

rather give us an impression

that you have subtropical sunshine

keeping all living things energetic

Verdantly standing on

the ocean of history

you do not grow premature gray hairs

as subjecting to insult

The typhoon comes frequently

the earthquake vibrates intermittently

you even have only one arm

capable to endure so many troubles

Your innocence

is still like the mind of a maid

yet no one actually

dares to mention

just your name

rather treats you really

like a leprosy victim

simply because your name

蒼翠立在

You emerge as an island

from the waves of white satin

The dense forest of black hair

drifts with longing nostalgia

The beach of soft white sands

is imprinted with numerous kisses of shells

Taking a birds-eye view from the sky

the beauty of your texture is so attractive

that I am landing onto your body thirstily

You are a mermaid

in the Pacific Ocean

the landmark of my eternal home country
