About this ebook
Hey, guess what?
Joe Fisher’s got a book.
It's full of words that sometimes rhyme
and ones that need a second look,
containing puns and clever word play.
Lots of fun and laughs
but others seem quite painful:
deep and wonderfully powerful,
a tower full of imag

Joe Fisher is one of those rare souls who makes me laugh and think, often at the same time, and occasionally he nudges me to tears too, for which I’m grateful (mostly). Highly recommended, so just buy this!

The wonderful thing about this lovely collection of poems is the way they show so many sides of Joe. You probably know the Silly Jumper Joe. And there is plenty of Silly Jumperness here. (Not least in the title!) But this book also gives you the Reflective Joe, the Wondering, Pondering Joe, and the Often Quite Moving Joe. It’s a bargain, really. All the Joe’s in one!
Bob Hartman: storyteller, writer & entertainer
A mighty collection of mini wonders. Joe will make you laugh and think and ponder and love this creation we’re in a bit more. Joe is a poet and I didn’t even know it; the Man on the Mic is also the Man with the Bic. (That’s a pen.) What a skill he has, helping see the world and its Creator through fresh eyes. Uplifting and joyous, this is an excellent collection of inspirational poetry. Highly recommended to everyone who knows words. Joe knows loads, and he’s gifted with them.
Paul Kerensa: scriptwriter, comedian & author

Unsurprisingly, this book is much like Joe: funny, thoughtful, wise and witty. A great creative resource but equally fantastic to read for pleasure. I’m sure this book will bring joy to many people.

This book is dedicated to my publisher,
Mark McKnight at McKnight & Bishop Ltd.
I wanted to dedicate it to my beautiful wife, Emma
and my two awesome offspring: Sam and Ellie.
But Mark threatened me, saying he would change it in the final edit
or at least redact my thoughts beyond all recognition.
I think this shows a staggering amount of rucking spit
and proves that Mark is nothing but a hfdghfdjfgdhgfsddsgfdsgfdsgfdsgfdsgfdsfg
But whatever.
Here you go, Mark – finally you get a book dedicated to you.
I hope you’re happy!
But seriously! The thankyous are endless and this couldn’t be done
without the help and support of my friends and family, Emm and the kids,
my dad, Ted Fisher for his unending wisdom, support and encouragement. Marc Kersalke who pushed me to start writing and Esther (the wonderful Mother-in-law (I bet that isn’t said often!!) who commissioned my
first piece for a carol service and set the ball rolling!
And all those over the years who have kept me going!
I’m still going!
Oh, and many blessings on you and yours! (see poem, Jargon-aught)
