This quick guide serves to provide an easy-to-understand insight as to what an exchange list for diabetics is and the incorporation of Caribbean influences. Before enrolling in my coaching program my clients have longed complained of how difficult it was to find information that was suited to their Caribbean lifestyle. It was rather difficult to create meals that were "healthy" with the foods they had at home or based on their Caribbean cuisine. With that being said, I wanted to make a knowledgeable contribution for both my clients and others who are aimed at creating a healthier lifestyle with diabetes.

Candice Senior is a Nutrition Health Coach with a BSc. Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Technology in Jamaica. She is also the owner of Vital Health with Nutrition, a health coaching platform that helps individuals suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension, and Emotional Eating to regain their confidence and health. Graduating as an Assistant Dietitian and experiencing the working world of said career, she has noted that some patients that were willing to change their dietary habits to obtain one that was considered healthy were sometimes provided with a general guide.
