ఈ నాటికలో :-

దొర: వడ్డీ వ్యాపారం చేసుకొనేవాడు.

చిన్నదొర: దొర కొడుకు.

జీతగాడు : దొర దగ్గిర జీతగాడు

Fourth character: దొర దగ్గిర పుస్తెలు తాకట్టు పెట్టినవాడు.

తెలంగాణా ప్రాంతంలో మారుమూల పల్లెటూరు .....అక్కడి ప్రజలకి న్యాయానికి అన్యాయానికీ మధ్య తేడా తెలీదు. తరతరాల బానిసత్వం వాళ్ళలో అజ్ఞానాన్నే మిగిల్చింది కొద్దిగా తెలివి తేటలున్నవాడు. ఎవడైనా వుంటే. వాడు తన తెలివితేటల్ని పక్కవాణ్ణి మోసం చెయ్యటానికే వుపయోగిస్తాడు. అక్కడి ప్రజలు ఎంత అమాయకులంటే _ అన్యాయం చెయ్యబడటం కూడా తమ జీనితంలో ఒక భాగంగా భావిస్తారు. అలాటి పల్లెటూర్లో ఒక ఇల్లు_ వడ్డీ వ్యాపారస్తుదిది.

స్టేజీమీద లైట్లు వెలిగేసరికి - అంతా ఖాళీగా వుంది. పుట్ లైట్స్ కి కొంచెం ముందు Acting Block వుంది.దూరంగా వెనుక ఎక్కడో ఓ తోలుబోమ్మ షేప్ లోనే నిల్చుని వున్నాడు.

పెద్ద దోరని, చిన్నదో ర తోసుకుంటూ ,అల్లరి చేస్తూ , స్టేజీ మధ్యకి తీసుకొచ్చాడు.

పెద్దదొరకి తలపాగా , జరీలాల్చీ, పంచె, వేళ్ళకి వుంగరాలు, కళ్లలో నవ్వు దాని వెనకే కల్మషం, పెద్ద కడుపూ... ఇవీ ఆభరణాలు. చిన్న దొరకి పదకొండేళ్ళ వయసుంటుంది. హుషారయిన కుర్రవాడు. ఉట్టి నిక్కరు మీదే వున్నాడు.

చి : (మారాం చేస్తూ) ఆఁ ...నాకు రానీయే గావాల్నే.

దొ : గిదో - గిట్ల గడవిడ బెట్టినవంటే సంప్త , పో బోయి నాష్ట దిని రా పో.

చి : నే బోను.

దొ : లేకుంటే నాష్టా ఈడకె దేపో !నన్ను జూస్కంట తిందువు పోయిరా పోరా

చి : నువ్వు బాగానే వున్నవ్ గానీ నాయినా. నాకు గుక్కే గావల్నే.

దొ : మరింకేందిరా - నే బాగుంటే ఇంగ కుక్క దేనికిరా? పో _ పోయి నాష్టాజేసిరాపో.

చి : మరి మొరుగు మల్ల.

దొ :(అర్ధంకాక )ఆఁ?
