The Kev Chronicles - Kev Mac

This is a story that I put together and I hope that you like it.

I have written this book years ago but because of my fear of criticism I held back anyhow I present to you The Kev Chronicles Book 1.

Do you think that this book is true or false?

Feel free to email me and give your answer and feedback I will leave an email address in the back of the book.

    Chapter 1

    Ant

    ––––––––

Anthony is young and clueless but swears that he knows it all, despite no father in the house growing up nobody to look up to.

Regardless you could not tell him nothing.

    His drive was tough.

Anthony on many levels full of goals and ambition, a loyal to the soil young man but most

would consider him a dreamer that puts himself last.

    A nice guy.

A hustler but a part time one.

    The criminal/Christian kind of guy.

He came across Rick while ditching school out on a rackin’ spree with other young go

    getters from the same school.

(Rackin’ spree is slang for when a group of 5 or more get together and set out to go to as

many malls as possible and shoplift all they can by any means.)

Rick was Anthony’s brother in the streets all they cared about was fine women, clothes, shoes and getting paid.

Rick is a jack of all trades and full of street knowledge with nothing to lose but has the world to gain.

Sherie was his ninth-grade homeroom teacher he had a thing for her.

Anthony used to leave a box of small heart candies on her desk.

Many times, his giving led to fights which eventually led to her kicking him out of her class, he was head over heels for her.

Anthony had a reputation for stealing from the malls, his desire to have the material items that his mother could not afford but he had to have it, and so he found a way.

This eventually led to him going to juvenile hall, camps and the Youth Authority.

That was where he faced many challenges especially since he was a non-affiliate it was

gladiator school for him fight after fight after fight after fight.

Along with that came time add after time add his 18 months sentence turned into

    years.

Once released he called up to the school to see if Sherie was still teaching there,

He fired up a story saying that she took a pager of his when he attended and that he was attempting to get it back, and she was. He then arranged to have his home girl send her a basket of flowers from her flower shop with a carwash coupon for the carwash where he worked.

He was eager and determined, his confidence had him motivated.

Being that he completed school in jail he was able to obtain work, so he worked at the carwash for which the coupon was for.

She received the flower basket on a Saturday.

She wore her hair down in a wrap and it hung down to the middle of her back it was complimented with blond streaks that matched her summer dress and she had some sandals on that exposed her toes.

Her skin tone was a caramel complexion with a well-toned decent figure 32,24,36. Like that cola bottle.

    ––––––––

    Sherie, Sherie!!!!

Anthony yelled out raising his hands and waving.

Surprised and in disbelief that she came.

    She looked his way.

They embraced each other with a hug and kiss then Sherie playfully pushed him back

What happened, why did you go to jail and why haven't I heard from you?

    You have my number.

    Sherie replied.

Plenty has happened since then and I apologize.

    Please forgive me.

    Anthony replied.

Do you even still have my number?

What happened though and why were you in jail?

    Sherie asked.

That is not important just know I made it out and I am here. Shit was crazy I needed that

    reset.

    Replied Anthony.

    Right...

    Says Sherie.

Good morning Sherie, and how is your day?

    Asks Anthony.

    Stop playin’

    Sherie Answers.

    Who is playing?

Anthony continues as he tries to gain her attention.

I could have lost my job!

    Sherie!!

Stop it. ... knock it off we ain’t doing this. Just say you want some and I will stop by when I get off as a matter of fact you can pick me up.

    Anthony reminds her.

Oh... so, I bet that it was you that sent the flower basket too, huh?

    Sherie ask.

Sherie stop with all the extra, chill and just listen

    Says Anthony.

Huh, what, what are you talking about?

You are a kid you cannot even buy a wine cooler yet.

    Sherie responds.

Check this out, look Sherie I understand the age difference but in my eyes you bad.

Are you coming to swoop me or what fuck all this back and forth?

You were not talking that kid shit when you were polishing my pole.

Stop acting brand new we have been there we have done this I am hoping to do some more stuff with you. Give me my run back.

    Anthony exclaims.

Ant, I am married, do you know that?

    Replied Sherie.

    Anthony....sighed then continued.

So, what, I did not ask you all that and where is your ring at?

As fine as you are being mine you would have had a ring to match you!

Hell is he treating you right?

    Anthony asks.

As a matter of fact, I am satisfied and as for the ring, it is not important it is what’s

    in your heart.

    Sherie answers.

Ok, if you are so happy, satisfied or whatever then why did you come to the carwash and where is he at?

Especially since after you received a basket of flowers with a carwash pass from a stranger you don’t know who it could’ve been but you come and then on top of that you do not have your ring on!

    Thank God you came!!

    Answers Anthony.

Please, Ant who do you think I am?

I am not one of them young little girls that you may be accustomed to messing with and why aren’t you working?

All in my business you’re going to get fired.

    Replies Sherie.

Anyhow, you never answered my question, where is your husband?

    Anthony asks.

    Ok, I will tell you...

Responds Sherie as she finds the bench behind her and sits down.

Anthony sits down beside her to give her his undivided attention.

However, only because I admire your persistence.

    He is in jail!

    Sherie admits.

    Hmm, ok.

Out of curiosity if you do not mind me asking.

What is he in jail for?

    Anthony asks.

Ant please, why am I telling you my business?

That is on a need to know basis.

    Sherie exclaims.

Sherie, look you do not have to tell me anything that you do not want to, that is your decision, but I just want to know.

    Anthony responds.

    What time are you off?

    Asks Sherie.

In two hours but Sherie, I want to be your company, at least your friend.

Let me open your tight jars sometimes take out your trash, water your grass, if you

    have
