Back at home, me and your dad got by. We were in and out of the hospital, making sure that everything was OK.
Sadly, just weeks after you returned to uni, your beloved nan passed away.
You were heartbroken, but you were so strong for me.
You came back home for the weekend and for the funeral, but after, we insisted that you stayed at uni to study.
I know it was hard for you Aaron, being away from home at a difficult time, but your education was important to all of us.
We didn’t want you to stop because of us.
So, you went back after the funeral and we all agreed that we’d see each other again during Christmas.
