The Bible reminds us there will be rumors surrounding his second coming and instructs us to not believe them. The only one who knows when this will happen is the Father. Are you prepared? I first want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the vision to worship him via this book. I could have been dead or in prison, but God’s grace gave me the bailout of a lifetime. I could have easily been addicted to alcohol or drugs, but God saw a different path for me, and I am truly thankful.

I want to thank my best friend, my confidante, my life companion, Donna-Marie Spencer. She encouraged and supported me in pursuing my passions. She always says the right things at the right time, and I certainly thank God for sending her into my life.

In many of my keynote speeches on leadership, I make the bold assertion that great leaders are born, and good leaders keep working at it. This is based on my own observations and experiences during my fifty years of working, following and leading where necessary.

Mark makes an awesome parallel of great leadership qualities, and the great leadership qualities of Jesus Christ, who was and is a great leader.

Those who most need to read this book probably will not read it. They already think they know everything there is to know about leadership. But those who are great to good leaders and believers in Christ will read this book. As I have, they will find it inspiring and reinforcing of the things we are doing right as leaders.

Whereas Mark’s twenty-six years of military service helped shape his perspectives on leadership, the parallel perspectives on the leadership of Jesus Christ had to come through and from his faith in Christ.

I get a lot of requests to write forewords for books, which I can’t always accommodate, but this one immediately captivated me. I now know that it was because of the connection to Christ, and the many years I have spent in leadership positions, writing and speaking on this important subject.

Jesus Christ is the Chairman of the Board for our life and our salvation. His divine leadership is all we need as believers in Him.

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 says,

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

There will be no opportunity to call in sick or to give the I’m stuck in traffic excuse to miss this meeting. You will not be able to make a conference call or send a text message or email during this meeting. Leave your BlackBerry® at home for this one. You will meet directly with Jesus Christ, Chairman of the Board, at his appointed time.

The central design of any corporate enterprise is to generate profits—the corporate interest. The corporate interest is fundamentally preeminent. During an executive meeting, a scheduled course of events normally takes place. There is someone who records the minutes to provide a written record of what transpired during the meeting. In the spiritual realm there are minutes taken of our lives that are called The Book of Life. Revelation 3:5 says,

"He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."

There is no one better than Jesus to put in a good word for you. There might be slideshows presented in the executive meeting that display trends and statistics. Gantt charts, Pareto charts, and pie charts are just a few of the tools used to provide useful information to guide the decision-making process and maximize the corporate vision. These presentations display the current performance level and marketing effectiveness of the corporation. Executive meetings are usually planned and conducted on a regular and on going basis. Anyone who attends regular meetings already knows the date, time, and location.

But no one knows the time of the Executive Meeting when we meet with Jesus in the air. Matthew 24:36 says,

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

Our current system of corporate business operations and organizational structures requires a detailed and precise alliance between consequential elements within an organization. One method to advance and institute the objectives of a corporation is through executive meetings in the workplace. They serve many purposes in advancing the agenda of a corporation. It says in the book of Acts 11:26,

"And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch."

This verse emphasizes the concept of meeting to advance a common ideal, as corporate leaders meet to advance their common purposes. I invite you to join me in this power-packed executive-level worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Executive Meeting involves the highest level of any hierarchy. There is no earthly king or queen, nor president or prime minister; neither chairman nor anything on this planet with authority that can compare to the dominion of the only ONE who is worthy to sit on the most high throne of the living God in heaven. His name is Jesus Christ, Chairman of the Board.

In this meeting there will be no discussion of negative trends, profit and loss, golden parachutes, or stock options. There will be no discussion of government bailouts or million-dollar bonuses. This meeting will be convened as a result of the reduced share price of humanity—a drop-in value at which an immediate takeover must transpire. As it says in 1 Corinthians 15:51–52,

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

That’s how fast this heavenly government takeover will be. In an instant it will all happen. This is not the typical government takeover with corrupt politicians and the influence of special interests, but a heavenly government takeover. There will be no more crooked and fraudulent government administrations that operate on a standard of malfeasance. Revelation 19:11 states,

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war."

Verse 15 goes on to say,

"...and he shall rule them with a rod of iron..."

A new government, a Godly government, will take control, and a new system of leadership will be installed. New leadership means a state-of-the-art civilization, an established society that has been wiped clean of any blemish. Isaiah 25:8 says,

"He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it."

With a new government in charge, an Executive Meeting is at hand to set the heavenly agenda.
