About this ebook

This is about the basic truth of Gods heart for the obedient believera desire to display His glory and power through the believer. By obedience to God and discovery of the resources made available to the believer by Gods divine power for daily living, the believer is empowered with an increased capacity that the Holy Spirit providesthe ability to be a partaker of the very divine nature of God. As a born-again child of God, the connection to and positioning in God creates ripples that impact the believers immediate family and generations, bringing Gods deliverance and salvation to many. This book calls believers to a place where the very life of God flows and urges them to cross the threshold into what God reveals of Himself. Out of that experience, believers can live and impact the world with a life empowered by God as they are soaring on the sovereignty of God with a strong conviction that there is no purpose for ones life until one discovers their true identity in Christ. Until one learns to soar on the sovereign power of God and appropriate the provisions made available by being united with Christ, there is failure in understanding the privilege of having been born of God and the heritage as an heir of the Kingdom.

    Preface

Inviting you to come on a journey to explore the power of being in a divine network as it relates to our faith in Christ and its implications in our lives and future generations. Looking at the world and the events around us, there is chaos everywhere even assaults on the church and its core beliefs whiles the church appears to be taking cover in an effort to be welcoming and accepting instead of proclaiming the life-changing word of God in the face of darkness. This issue has been a raging battle for many generations and seems to be intensifying as the end draws nigh. The redeemed of the Lord know the expected outcome, as the Scripture explains: I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Mathew 16:18b ESV).

As the battle rages on, believers in Christ need to be actively engaged in their roles here on earth as Christ’s ambassadors. The passion is to call out to a generation of believers who fully embrace their true identity in Christ and live it. I honestly believe that the best way to diffuse the decay in our societies is to present a visible and viable alternative to the decay. The good news of the kingdom and its transformative power provides that alternative—not just the message but also the transformative power of knowing and living for Christ. There is an urgent need for this empowered way of living at this time in our generation and the challenge is for you.

    Introduction

Upon arrival in the United States, one of the immediate good things I noticed and admire is the rule of law, which has created a society that functions effectively. The country is built on principles designed to ensure its survival and preservation of the traditions and liberties that has made the country great through the generations. The laws of the land are designed to protect the liberty of the people and the sovereignty of the nation. The legal system vigorously defends these laws and principles to ensure that they survive and continue to serve their purpose. Enjoying the peace of the land and the liberty it accords, I often ponder why officers have to be on patrols in the streets always, why federal agencies have to stay alert all the time, and why the brave men and women in uniform are out defending the cause of liberty. The answer always comes back clearly: there are elements out there seeking to violate and destroy the very principles and laws that make this country great—the laws and principles that create a safe society in which people can live and work freely. The officers’ and agencies’ skills and training support the efforts to hold back these elements so that society can freely function. These men and women remain vigilant and act when necessary to preserve the principles of the land and ensure freedom continues to ring.

Considering the Christian faith and the world at this time in history, there are direct correlations to what was just described above. On one hand is the offer of a free gift of salvation with a promise of life to the fullest, and on the other is an agent whose full-time objective is to steal, kill, and destroy, according to John 10:10. God has not left us guessing about the nature of the conflict but has provided us with a vivid description of this struggle in Ephesians chapter 6.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil
