Hello everyone. My name is Cathie Silber. I am into clean western romances. I have two college degrees in history. I had a major stroke in 2010. Therefore, I am unable to work.

    Chapter 1 Pov April

Hello, my name is April. I am twenty-seven years old and am currently single. I just sold my house a few days ago. Today I lost my job as the business was forced to close due to the CCP virus. It happened at a perfect time as now I can just sell the bulk of my items and travel back home to Texas. I have been expecting this to happen for a few weeks, so I am not surprised. I will give myself two-weeks to sell my items. Which means I just need to spend a few days living with a friend. Two-weeks will also give me time to say goodbye to my friends. I have not been back to Texas since my parents died a few years ago. I missed Texas, so I am looking forward to the move. My employer gave me three months’ severance pay and said I had three months to find health insurance. I was not expecting to get severance pay, so that was a big shock to me. My fellow employees seemed to also be shocked by this. Our restaurant did not get many people willing to have the food delivered to them or pick it up themselves.

I have the training to be a chef, so I can do that or work as a cook. I have a half-million dollars from the sale of my house plus the million dollars inherited once I sold my parent’s ranch in Texas. Before my parents died, I inherited ten million dollars from my paternal grandparents and ten million dollars from my maternal grandparents. So, I can take my time finding a job. I will take the first job that appeals to me and offers a high enough wage as I hate having nothing to do. Another plus to Texas will be easier to find a man I could see marrying and starting a family with. That is impossible in New York City as there are few cowboys here. There will be plenty of cowboys in Texas. I am ready to start a family since I got no family
