In everything you do, give thanks to the Almighty. Let thanksgiving fill your mouth, give thanks in every breathe you breathe; give thanks every moment. In thanksgiving praise God. Praise God in words of mouth or in songs, so is thanksgiving. You can thank God while on seat, on stand or on your knee. The same applies to praises. Praise the Lord! Open your mouth wide and praise Him.

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving is closely allied with praise to God. Thanksgiving is an important element in Christian prayer. Let your entire life be a sacrifice of thanksgiving in gratitude to God for his mercy and his daily provision.

Give thanks to God for his goodness and love, his perfect righteousness and just character, the new life he gave to you and your marriage; his deep personal care for your life; his provision of strength and necessities for each day, his guidance upon your life etc.

In the light of the Holy Bible, we thank God for following reasons:-

- For God’s goodness and love. 1Chronicle 16:34.

- For God’s wonderful deeds. Psalm 75:1.

- For God’s protection. Psalm 56:12-13.

- For Salvation. Psalm 118:21.

- For daily provisions. Mathew 14:19

- For Faith, hope and love. Romans 1:8.

- For God’s grace. 1Corinthians 1:4.

- For healing Luke 17:16.

- For victory over sin and death. 1Corinthians 15:57.

- For all people. 1Timothy 2:1.

- For everything. Ephesians 5:20.

In sum, we ought to be thankful to God in all circumstances.

PRAISES

With praise you talk of the greatness and goodness of God. Praise is an important element of Christian prayer as we focus our attention on God and tell Him how awed we are at his majesty and glory. One common way to praise God is to burst forth in music and song using the medium in our possession, our voice singing and dancing with open heart to God. Praise God with what you say and by how you live. Praise God by witnessing to unbelievers. Praise God as you acknowledge his greatness, his holiness and his wonderful acts and saving love to mankind.

There are reasons to praised. They include:-

- God’s greatness. Psalm 145:3

- God’s splendour and majesty. Psalm 96:4-6.

- God’s glory. Psalm 66:1-2.

- God’s holiness. Psalm 99:3, Isaiah 6:3.

- God’s acts of power. Psalm 150:2.

- God’s marvelous deeds. Isaiah 25:1.

- God’s glorious grace. Ephesians 1:6.

- God’s benefits to his people. Psalm 103:1-18.

- God’s deliverance of us. Psalm 40:1-3.

In your marriage give thanks to God. Thank Him for sparing your life, husband and children. It is because you are alive you know of the existence of a strange woman or strange women in the life of your husband. If the arrow fired against you materialized you may be in the grave by now. But for God, you are alive, therefore praise Him and give thanks to Him.

Give praise and thanksgiving for what He did in your life in the past, today and what He will do in future. Praise Him in advance, I say praise Him. Thank God for the wonderful expectations in your life, your marriage and your household. Thank God for victories you recorded so far in your marriage. Name them one by one as a sign of appreciation and thanksgiving. Thank God for preserving your marriage from collapse. Praise God for disgracing strange women out of the life of your husband. Thank God and praise Him for making you to be above and not beneath. Thank God for His love and grace.

Praise him all day long, in public and secret places. In the midst of people and when alone praise him. The Lord is happy concerning your praises. With praises, Satan and his cohorts shall turn their back and fled. You are a champion, Praise Him, give thanks unto the Lord.

25.      I praise you Lord for your splendour and majesty.

26.      I praise you Lord for your glory upon my household.

29.      I praise you Lord for your holiness.

30.      I give praise unto you for empowering me over arrows of darkness.

31.      I give total praise to you O Lord for the wonders you did in my life in the past, today and what awaits me in future.

32.      I thank you Lord in advance for shames that await strange women troubling my marriage in the name of Jesus.

And having made peace through the blood of his crossColossians 1:20. When Jesus shed his blood on the cross of Calvary he made peace available for all who trust Him. Your marriage is not exempted. Plead the blood of Jesus on your marriage, no one have peace with God outside the blood of Jesus. When blood of Jesus is sincerely applied there will be peace because His is the Prince of Peace.
