So Not into Blind Dates

We were blindly introduced by a mutual friend. Mr. Delusional man called me to chat a bit. He asked how tall I was, what color my hair was, and wanted to know all about my physique which really just annoyed me. However, I graciously responded; and continued by asking the same questions. I willingly admit Mr. Delusional man’s response raised an eyebrow of interest -Dark hair, a former football rookie, tall, and included very physically fit blah, blah.

After conversing a bit longer we planned to meet at a lounge in Manhattan. Well, we met alright – all I have to say is he left out the time in his life when he was actually very physically fit - hmmm?!@! Why make that comment when not one ounce of him was physically fit.

I was poise, and chatted with him over a drink. However, there was no attraction on my end. I was more annoyed about his (BS) comment of being very physically fit. Mr. Delusional man knew because he asked me if I was attracted to men, and I quote with excessive weight. I responded indirectly by mentioning that the next time he is set-up on a blind date to either be honest or not say anything, and just meet. Excessive weight, physically fit?! is not the issue. Being honest is more of an attraction. Some folks are just blind to things; either that or Delusional!

Spicy Party Ballz

Pre-heat oven 450°

2 lbs Ground Chicken

½ cup Grated Cheese Romano, Licotelli, or Perorino

2 Egg Whites

¼ cup Olive Oil

1 tspn Fresh Chopped Garlic - or jarred

½ Small Chopped Onion (optional)

Handful Italian Seasoned Bread Crumb

Place all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. Roll into small balls and place on a non-stick cookie sheet or drizzle a little olive oil.

Cooking Time – approximately 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and place in a serving bowl

Sauce

½ Cup Tabasco Sauce

½ Stick of melted Butter or Margarine – mix well then pour over meatballs.

Dipping sauce

½ Blue Cheese Crumbles

½ cup Sour Cream

small Chopped Shallot

Mix ingredients in a small bowl - serve with meatballs

Serves 10 - 12

Don’t Cross the Line

Did you ever have a friend of the opposite sex that you were attracted to?? This friend was absolutely stunning. Great personality, gorgeous, 6.4", size 13 shoe - very easy on the eyes, total package. Well, not really! Curiosity overpowered, and to my disappointment the only package he had could have been compared to a match stick – yuck!

Lobster Patties

1 lb Lobster Meat – cut into small pieces

½ Onion – chopped (optional)

½ Red Pepper – chopped (optional)

1 medium Red Potato – cut into small cubes

1 tspn Black Pepper

2 tblspns Margarine

2 tblspns Fresh Chopped Garlic - or jarred

1 tspn Adobo

1 packet Sazon - orange box with the white top

2 Tblspns Sofrito

2 Tblspn Recaiato
