There really isn’t an ingredient I don’t like, but I can’t deal with ‘bland’. I grew up in the 80s, so I know all about bland food: watery sauces, overcooked pasta, tasteless quiche. It’s time to stop that now – there’s no excuse for it! So, while this chilli might lack in authenticity, it makes up for it with big flavour.
Like that other famous mince dish, bolognese, everyone has their version of chilli con carne; one that’s evolved over the years
