    Who can go to Heaven?

    Text: Revelations 20: 11-15, 22:11-22

    Introduction

    In the story of Lazarus and the Rich man in Luke 16, we read that there are two places a person can go when he dies. He can go to heaven (the bosom of Abraham) or he can go to hell. The greatest evil that can befall a man is to stand before God in judgment without favor. The moment someone’s name is not in the book of life, he has direct passage into hell fire.

    Questions

    Someone said, ‘if I am very wicked, God will throw me far away from hell and I will land in heaven’.  Can it be true?

    What will happen on the judgment day to those who died without hearing aboutChrist e.g. our great-great-grandparents? Will they go to hell?

    Can I go to heaven by doing good to others? Isaiah 64:6
