About this ebook

Leadership is something to learn.
It is pride to assume that you could do it all alone. Rather, you could achieve much more by following the example of people who went ahead.
In this small book we are taught how to connect with greatness through apprenticeship.

    Dedication

    I wish to dedicate this book to the  memory of

    Bishop (Dr) Caleb Oloyede

    Presiding Bishop of The Family of God Church Int’l  (of Blessed memory)

    I am really glad that I met you.

    Introduction

    Just recently I began to get agitated about events in the Body of Christ.

    Without any doubt this generation has the largest turnover of ministers than any other one before. But it is unfortunate that we have not been able to transfer the grace to the younger generation.

    Like the demented hen we often feed upon our own children. And this is strange and unfortunate.

    Without any doubt this generation has the largest turnover of ministers than any other one before. But it is unfortunate that we have not been able to transfer the grace to the younger generation.

    Moses was a more successful leader because he understood how to continue the work after him. Joshua however, was a bad leader because he failed to replace himself. A little while after Joshua died the people fell back into idolatry because there was no leader.

    Of course, it is also true that most of our assistants in this generation are more like Gehazi and Judas.

    This book is written therefore to show both the leaders and the led the basic principles of grace transfer.

    Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not going to talk here on how to receive a call or a vision. Rather I am instructed to share from my experience and discoveries in scripture on grace transfer.

    Part One: Recognising Spiritual Order

    God is orderly. If you pay close attention to scriptures you will discover that God is very orderly.

    He has reserved the prerogative of assignment to Himself. No one else is enabled to call another one into ministry. He makes the choice and the details of what each person would do for Him.

    In essence, God is ministry. There is no ministry outside of God. And the moment you step outside direction, He would withdraw from you.

    Also He alone would reward His servants. And the reward is limited to faithfulness.

    When you receive a call, you must understand clearly that God is orderly. You need to understand the pattern He sets for you and the ministry. And then you must ensure that you stay within the premise he had set for you.

    In essence, God is ministry. There is no ministry outside of God. And the moment you step outside direction, He would withdraw from you.

    If God withdraws from you then you are exposed to the enemy. And failure is inevitable.

    In this part, I want to list out ministers who are expected to be connected with an existing grace to be accomplished. Unfortunately, ministers are like branches of the vine. If they disconnect from their position, they dry up eventually.

    Chapter One: The Minister in Training

    To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

    A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;

    A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;

    Ecclesiastes 3:1-3

    I remember when I was much younger than this. The only kind of fire common then was firewood. Only very few wealthy people could afford the kerosene stove. The kitchen was always at the backyard.

    At that time, everyone was his brother’s keeper.

    Most families would not invest their meagre income
