    Chapter 1: I Will Do A New Thing

    Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.

    Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

    The beast of the field will honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen.

    This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise.

    Isaiah 43: 18 –21

    One of the innate rights given to man at creation was the right of choice. Unfortunately, this right enables man to make a mess of anything he wants. And that includes his life. It also includes the life of other people around him.

    More often than not, I have observed that a lot of people suffer as a result of errors of other people around them.  For instance, most children with AIDS or sickle cell anaemia are not responsible for their unfortunate situations.

    However, several others have made choices in life that landed them in big troubles. They want to get out of it, but they never succeed.

    As I minister around, I see people suffering heavily from choices made in the past either by themselves or someone else close to them. It troubles my heart because it looks as if no one can help them.

    But from the scripture above and the testimony of several others, I want to assert authoritatively that there is a second chance.

    Of course you cannot give yourself a second chance. But God, the maker of all things can give you a second chance.

    He made you. He has the ability to
