    Introduction

In a world full of pop heroes, fantasy heroes, and sports heroes, we should never forget to look to the real heroes for real courage, real strength, and real stories.

    Steve Nethercott

Heroes bring hope to our world and show that a single person can make a staggering difference. Throughout the duration of our lives we are influenced by the heroic actions of the people of our community. These people provide great examples and show our generation how to better ourselves, our community, and even our world. They have encouraged us to be our own heroes now and in the future. In honor
