When you are old enough to read this book I hope you will understand how God led your grandparents through many decisions. God taught us how to put our trust in Him. Always listen, pray, think, and wait before making decisions.

    Introduction

My inspiration for writing this book came from my desire to encourage anyone that is facing a hard decision. I want to encourage you and let you know that if you slow down and listen, pray about the situation, and wait on God, you will be better equipped to make the right decision. It is not always easy when you have to make decisions, especially when it affect other people’s lives. I have always been a person who was cautious about listening to other’s opinions. I have often experienced that it leads you back to making the final decision. If you ask five people their opinion, and all five of them give you different answers, you are back at square one. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it is good to consult others about situations, but don’t be too quick to act upon them. Pray, think, and wait until you are sure you are making the right decision; so there are no regrets to the decision you made. As you read this book you will see how I had to make important decisions without a lot of answers from others on what I should do. Before I said, I do, I asked one person’s opinion on whether I should marry the man who broke my heart and almost caused me to give up on life; that was my dear mother. She didn’t have a clue about what I had gone through so she left the decision in my hands. I can truly say, I don’t look like what I have been through, and I give all the credit to God. Without Him I never would have made it. If you are in the middle of making a hard decision, I truly hope that you take time out to read this book and understand that you are not alone when it comes to making decisions. We all have to make hard decisions and it is up to us how we choose to make them. Again, I don’t look like what I have been through!
