    Chapter 1

    LOVE

    New Love

    I will not be rattled by grief.

    My new love places kisses upon my cheek.

    Tall, handsome and witty.

    Why give the old love an ounce of pity?

    No matter how many times they come for me,

    I will not give in to sympathy.

    My new love speaks to me in volumes.

    Just one of the reasons why i love him.

    A laughter that fills up a room and humor that brightens any place.

    Those adorable dimples makes me want to hug his face.

    The easiness I feel with him is like no other.

    We promised that we will be supporters of each other.

    I feel secure in his promise to always be around.

    Maybe I’ll just turn back to see love lost;

    Just to appreciate love found.

    A Love Story

    His love was like a cool breeze.

    Her love was an intense flame.

    His love was like a gentle stream.

    Her love was the fury in a hummingbird’s wing.

    His love was deep and mysterious like the Mariana Trench.

    Her love was what passion was made of.

    Him the thirst and her the quench.

    Both were separate and one with love.

    Escape

    I need to run away;

    Far off where no one can find me.

    Sleep on beautiful beaches.

    Eat from exotic fruits.

    Drive around white mountains.

    Stand on forever plains.

    I need to be away from misery;

    The dark scene.

    But I will never leave unless you are beside me.

    Other Half

    I closed that chapter of pain,

    Now that I found love again.

    No longer will I cry at night.

    I sleep soundly with the light of my life.

    Tears no longer come from lies.

    Only tears are of joy that spring forth from my eyes.

    We work in sync like the earth and the sea.

    I love you so much.

    My dear,

    My sweetie.

    Took A Chance

    How could I be shy with you?

    You were not shy with me.

    You stopped me in my tracks
