drinking from a bottle

at the center of the table

is a person of the most exotic feeling

from the quotes about the muffins

I think it's bran that he puts in 'em

to the slightly folded napkin

in the myriad mental corridors

he's sane

but when he's home

how do we know

he does not thrash about

and sacrifice his pets with knives

dear Tim, you're most devout

this may seem vibrant fancy

a wild fleeting vision

of things that simply are not truly there
