All I Want To Do Is Sleep

About this ebook
I wanted to write another poetry book about love and heartbreak again.
But honestly, 2020 has given me much reason to give up everything in general. Shocking revelations pertaining to my health and family played out before me, all while the great COVID-19 drama plays out in the background. But none of those things are talked about here. Instead, I express just my thoughts. Thoughts of giving up, hopelessness, self-loathing, and darkness in general. Exploring some of my deepest and darkest thoughts as I am thrust towards the second half of 2020, All I Want To Do Is Sleep, or AIWTDIS as I call it, expresses a dark period in my life where I felt like wanting to go to sleep, and never waking up ever again. [TRIGGER WARNING: This book contains subject matter pertaining to suicide and self-harm. Reader discretion is advised.]
Dav Santos
Many things inspire poet and fiction writer Dav Santos. Chief among them are the visual and emotion of blackness, Oriental Asian food, Korean pop music, video gaming, and his personal struggles with epilepsy and diabetes. He'd taken up both bachelor's degrees in Information Technology and English Literature at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines and Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan respectively in his hometown of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. When he isn’t writing and working on new ideas for his books, Dav enjoys songwriting, singing and dancing, plus going "gg ez" on a couple of hard-stuck silver matches in League of Legends or chilling with friends on their relatively peaceful Minecraft server. I forgot to mention he loves the sound of rain at night, and the odd scent of dusk air as cars noisily honk on in a futile attempt to escape the rush hour.
