About this ebook
War never changes, but it’s always unpredictable anyway...
Killian Black was a billionaire business mogul who knew that the only way to survive the coming war would be to use his futuristic backup body cloning technology to protect himself, but when the bombs are dropped and he wakes up in a strange, post-apocalyptic desert wasteland cloning facility, he realizes that things have gone very, very wrong. Years have passed, the staff are all dead or gone, and the backup process failed him. His clone was lost forever.
Fortunately, there was a failsafe they installed: An emergency backup body cutover, designed to protect his consciousness in just this scenario. There’s only one problem: the backup body was a beautiful female clone, half his original age!
Now Killian is trapped in the wasteland alone in an unfamiliar and feminine body, desperate for help and with nowhere to turn. When a band of raiders find this unprotected woman and capture her for their own twisted designs, Killian begins to wonder if he might not have preferred being alone after all...

An excerpt from Fallout Girl:
The raider with the tattoo was flanked by the same giant who had helped capture me earlier that day. They were the last to join the rest of the rowdy men sitting around the bonfire. The giant sat down without a word, and the tattooed man called out to the group to silence them, throwing his hands in the air to halt the conversation.
As I am sure you have all noticed,
he started. We have a very special guest among us this evening.
I wanted to shout. I wanted to remind him once again that I was not a woman, but a man trapped in the body of one. I wanted to kick and scream and cry. Those guttural urges reminded me of how different I felt as a female. Never before would Killian Black want to cry if he found himself in such a predicament. This body, on the other hand, had different ideas of how I should feel.
Instead of doing any of that, I kept my mouth shut. I was staring at him with dagger eyes. I tried to make him feel all the contempt that was coursing through me for him. He paid me no mind, however. The men cheered at his announcement, and several eyes landed on me. I felt as though they saw me as small, tiny, even–I supposed I was.
This pretty little woman is going to provide some real nice entertainment for all of us. After all, we haven’t seen such a nice treat for many days. Isn’t that right?
They cheered once more. The tattooed man, who I gathered was their leader, smiled. It was only then that he met my eyes. He didn't seem to care that I was glaring at him. On the contrary, the smirk that fell upon his lips made me feel like he liked the way that I was looking at him.
He wanted me to hate him.
Why don’t we give her a taste of what she is in for?
he asked.
No one stood as he made his way towards me with long strides. I felt my heart speed up once again as he neared me, terrified of what he might do to me. He paused in front of me and got down on his haunches. He reached out towards me, and I flinched, but his touch was gentle as he traced his thumb across my jawline up towards my mouth. He stroked my lower lip before pressing forward. I kept my mouth shut, pursing my lips together to deny him entrance.
Hmmm,
he murmured. Are you sure that this is the way you want to do this?
I did not waver. I kept my lips closed, glaring at him. Once again, the corners of his lips twitched upwards in that cheeky smirk. He pulled his hand away from my mouth. Before I had time to react or even think about saying anything, it came back towards my face. Only this time it was fast and hard. He slapped me across the face with the flat of his palm. My head snapped to the side, and I felt the sting of my eyes beginning to water.
I turned my face back toward him. You bastard!
I yelled.
He chuckled, low and menacing. I gave you a choice. We can do it the easy way or the hard way. Either way, you are here to entertain us this evening.
He looked over his shoulder at the bonfire and those surrounding it. Everyone had their eyes locked on us. I gulped down the lump that had formed in my throat. We are going to use you until we have had our fill. You can be a good little girl and take it… or, well–
He reached out and touched my stinging cheek, I think you get the picture of your alternatives.
I didn’t answer. I wasn’t sure that I was even meant to answer. I tried not to blink, knowing that tears would begin to roll down my cheeks if I did. I could feel them sitting on my waterline, waiting. I was almost sure that there was a handprint on my cheek.
We stared at one another for what seemed like ages before he moved. He had nothing more to say, apparently. He was less gentle when he pressed his thumb towards my lips again. I could smell the sweat on his hand. This time, I did not resist. I didn’t willingly open my mouth to give him access to it, but I didn’t keep my lips pressed tightly together to deny it either. His thumb slipped passed my lips and into my mouth, touching my tongue.
I wanted to hurl. I wanted to bite down. I think that he knew that because when my teeth grazed his skin, he shook his head slowly.
Do not even think about biting down, you little whore.
My gut clenched at the name, and I finally blinked, letting the tears roll down my cheeks. I kept my eyes shut, not wanting to see him or any of the other men there. There was no way that I was getting out of there. I knew that. Fighting it would only hurt me more.
Suck it,
he said through gritted teeth. You’re going to be doing a lot of that tonight…
Chapter 1
The first thing I noticed was the noise. The buzzing sound was coming from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. It was at the base of my skull, whirring around my brain in circles, and echoing in my ears. Through the gentle hum, I strained to hear the words being spoken.
I tried to open my eyes. They felt as though they'd been glued shut with sleep, but they fluttered slowly, my lashes brushing the tops of my cheekbones. I blinked groggily, adjusting to the sudden brightness of the room.
I tried to move but found that I couldn't; my body was trapped inside some sort of pod that reminded me of a suntan bed. Only, I was pretty sure that you were able to move your arms when you were in a suntan bed. I could be wrong since I had never been in one. The odd contraption was transparent, made of glass that I could see out of, blurry though it was.
My eyes were open, but all I could see were fluorescent tubes hanging from the ceiling above me, emitting bluish light. They occasionally flashed, the sound of static sparks echoing around me.
I discovered the cause of the continuous buzzing.
My movement triggered it. I tried to move my arms and found that I couldn't. I glanced down and saw the thick steel digging into my wrists but only felt the ones around my ankles. I struggled to free myself from the bonds.
Panic started to rise inside me; acrid bile threatened the back of my throat. My heart hammered in my chest like the feet of a jackrabbit. I was suddenly struggling to breathe, gasping for air in the enclosed space.
Hello, Killian Black,
a voice said. It was inhuman, robotic. The voice was quiet, feminine, and soothing as it spoke to me from somewhere above my body. Please remain calm. You are safe and sound in your new body. The seal will be broken in a few moments, and you will be allowed to exit your containment unit.
My new body. Of course. The backup service.
That is good. Keep breathing. The system shows that you are suffering from high levels of stress.
Yeah, no shit, I thought, rolling my eyes. I wonder why.
Still, I tried to steady my breath and get a look at the room that I was in, but the glass was too thick. Everything but the fluorescent tubes above was dark and blurry.
A few minutes after I had been commended by the robotic voice for my breathing, I heard a hiss of air as the containment unit opened, and the pressure was released. The glass above me slid open, revealing the room to me. I blinked, taking it in.
Whoa!
I cried out as I fell. The bonds I had tried to pull myself from were no longer there. I fell forwards, my
