About this ebook

Getting a grasp of how the human mind works could be a complex situation to deal with.

In rare situations when you think you understand why people behave the way they do, why two lovers move in opposite directions; why one is clingy and the other is just fine even when there's a break in communication, will your understanding help you deal with these different persons respectfully? Will you be able to "help" them because you simply understand what they feel and why they do what they do?

Depending on where you're coming from, this book may or may not be the panacea to unrequited relationships, heartbreaks and fruitless relationship, but it sure provides a carefully woven insight into "Matters of the heart."

The book has been in production since October 2017. It implores well researched information and experiences to present a good read.

It tells you why people should be left alone when need be. Why love is not to be forced, and why one does not have to seek to ressurrect a love they have no need for.

Unlike other love stories, this is one couched from an African context with relatable content for people from all walks of life.

Love is not a straight jacket affair, and it can be figured out using some trusted methods in their proper ways.

This book provides these ways to a fault. You will understand why you don't like the good guys and what you can do to get the bad guys off your back and make sense of your love life.

I hope you enjoy this piece of work, and find it worthy of recommendation.

Matters of the heart are not predictable and can ruin lives if not handled with great caution.

    FOREWORD

This book comes to you with a fresh dimension on the subject of love. It offers the often-unspoken truths into this generation’s trials and struggles in the area of love by presenting the truth with an uncanny twist and turns. Here is just one brief example of how our lives is constantly shaped by our feeling and our emotions.

When it is a matter of the heart, often we suspend our rational and logical thinking pattern which does not prevent danger when it looms or fear if it is real. When love and relationships sometimes get turbulent, suffer setback, or lead to pain, desolation sits with us at the fireside, fear and alarm are our natural responses but surprisingly, there can be another response of our heart.

This propitious form of response is what Ezekiel Adewale Fatomilola provided throughout the book - You need to cry if you feel like, but before removing people from your life, have a talk with them and if their answer is still NO, please do not offer them more than what they ask for.

Furthermore, the reality of the modern day makes relationships to be more open and not a guessing game which many a time ends in pain and disaster, the author, Ezekiel did the work of a love therapist by teaching us to enlist assertiveness as one of our core values, because whoever falls in love with you (us) would not need your consent when they want to fall out and move on.

Therefore, we should be open enough to know what we are going into and be clear from the outset of our own emotions and feelings so as not to be wounded in the matters of the heart!

My assurance is that, through this book, you will learn the core psychology relationship principles that have been proven to work in matters of the heart.

This book will capture your imagination with real life events, from the first chapter to the very last page. You will be laughing at some situations, tense in some, and relieved at some other but at the end, having a better understanding and a refreshing read.

Therefore, if you are seeking an honest – interesting read in matters of the heart, you will definitely find it on the pages of this book. Let the matter of the heart begin!
