BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF A WEBSITE
A website is defined as a collection of webpages that contains specific information provided by the owner or in other words it's also defined as the content that is identified by a specific domain by a user. For example: - facebook.com, wikipedia.org, instagram.com etc. are some examples of websites. Every website has its own unique web address and links.
Types of Webpages
(1) Static Webpage: - Some of the web pages are stored by web developers or owners. A static web page is that web page which is shown exactly in the way it is delivered to the website by its owner. It is stored earlier by simple coding including HTML.
(2) Dynamic Web page: - The dynamic web page is that web page which is controlled by an application server processing server side scripts. (Detail will be given in upcoming contents)

There are different types of websites like E-commerce, Informative websites, blogs and personal websites and many more.
Let’s explore more about websites, one by one!
(1) E-Commerce Websites: - E-Commerce websites include sales and purchase of products through the internet. People can sell their products or they can buy products with just a simple click by sitting at their home. Amazon.com, flipkart.com, alibaba.com etc. are some well-known and most used E-Commerce websites.
(2) Informative websites: - Informative websites are helpful. Nowadays people don’t have to visit libraries to find some specific information. Informative websites have made it easier for us now. Whenever a question comes to our mind, we just go to google and search for that question’s answer. Wikipedia.org, quora.com are some good examples of informative websites.
(3) Blogs and personals: - Personal websites have always been useful for people who like to capture, frame or document the sweet and beautiful moments of their lives such as weddings, or travel etc. These days blogging has also become a good source of income for some people. People create their blogs and run Ads on them. They earn a good amount of money from blogs.
(4) Online community websites: - Community websites are those websites that include online chatting or texting features. So, that the website visitors can talk freely about what the site is about or anything they want. They can also share their ideas with the same people from the same backgrounds and forums through the internet.
(5) Photo sharing websites: - Photo sharing websites are those websites that allow people to upload and download high quality pictures. You can even sell your good
photography pictures on these kinds of websites and get paid. Many people sell high resolution pictures on websites such as pixabay.com in exchange for money.
(6) Portfolio Websites: - If you want to showcase your work then believe me these kinds of websites suit you the best. Because an online portfolio website allows you to online showcase your work so that people can check on it and you can show off your talent to everybody. Everyone from photographers to web developers or social media influencers have an online portfolio nowadays to show off their skills.
(7) Biography websites: - Online biography websites are those websites that show information or bio of a specific person or many persons. You can create your own online biography website and publish famous authors’, celebrities’ and writers’ etc. bios there or you can just create one for uploading your biography.
