Introduction
Procreate: What it is and why you should use it
In this book, I will talk about Procreate, why you should use the app, how to install it, how to draw and use its feature, and many other cool stuff that you can do with the app.
Procreate is my favorite digital app for drawing and rendering. I used to edit my drawing using other software like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, which was a little complicated for me personally, and I had to spend a lot of time on it.
Also, I have to say that these apps and software are great, and I still use them for some parts of my drawings, so if you feel comfortable using them, you should go for it.
Anyway, I like to work with this app because it gives me a lot of flexibility to work with layers, editing stuff, tracing, and making my favorite color palette. I can do all my drawings with my hand like I'm drawing and doing things on actual paper.
Another aspect that I decided to use Procreate is that it saves money. If you're on a tight budget, you have to be very careful about spending your money using other software and app as you'll have to pay monthly. Still, with Procreate, you only have to pay $9.99 to download, and there's no subscription and renewable fee after that. So you only have to pay for this app once, and of course, you should have an iPad and an Apple Pencil.
This was a brief introduction to Procreate app and why you should use it. This app is really great and easy to work with, and it could be a great alternative for other software like Photoshop Adobe Illustrator, and even AutoCAD. I also have to mention that all this information is based on my personal experiences, so if you enjoy working with other apps, you should go for it.
How to Install Procreate App
Learn how to download and install Procreate on your iPad.
I use iPad Pro 12.9 inches with an Apple Pencil. When you're done setting up your iPad:
Go to App Store and search Procreate.
For me, it says Open because I already installed it, but you should see an install button
