I Do Not Want to Be Without a Cell Phone - A.P. Hernández
CHAPTER 1
Martín has made a decision.
He wants a cell phone.
And he wants it now.
Right now!
And everyone in his class has one.
All but him, of course.
Because his parents have insisted that he is too young to have a cell phone.
But, for some strange reason, he is not too young to go to school every day for five hours.
Not to do all the homework that his teachers assign him.
Nor is he too young to study all the books they tell him to study.
Aaaahhh!
But yes, to have a cell phone with which to entertain himself for a little from time to time, it turns out that it is very small.
Has the whole world gone crazy?
CHAPTER 2
Martín has been insisting on his parents for a long time.
For a very long time.
He has been begging them to please buy him a cell phone for so many weeks that he has already lost his account.
And Martín, when he wants, can be very persistent.
When he goes down to breakfast in the morning and his parents greet him with Good morning, little son
, he greets them with Can I have a cell phone?
When his mother Leticia comes to pick him up after leaving school and asks him how the day went, Martín replies Can I have a cell phone?
And even when they are eating and their parents
