Introduction

It was just another day in my new small town. I enjoyed this place compared to where I had spent most of my life - there were about 60,000 people living here, as compared to nearly two million where I came from. I found there were two significant differences between the two places:

1) This is a place that no one outwardly desires to live (except for the natives), while my former home is a destination for most people

2) There is one of everything here as opposed to three at my old home - one Target, one Best Buy, etc.

I've really enjoyed the pace of life here, and I could not have possibly known how my life would change by merely shopping for shampoo and vitamins in my new home town.
