There’s nothing like an ocean breeze as Drew and I walk into the lobby of the palatial hotel near the beach resort.  We have never had the opportunity to have an all-expenses-paid trip to such a luxurious destination, so when my husband asked me if I wanted to go I dropped everything and packed.  His boss, Lucas Bradley, asked Drew to represent the company in a couple of meetings while we are here, but the majority of our time at the island should be on our own.  Maybe if I play my cards right with my husband I can get him to agree to take me snorkeling in the morning. 

Good evening, sir, the desk clerk says as we make our way to the front of the lobby.

Hello, Drew replies as he hands over a folded sheet of paper to the man.  We have a reservation for the next few days under the name of Horton. 

We wait patiently as the man looks at the paper and then types some information into his computer.  As he checks the screen in front of him, I look around the room at all the people wandering around the lobby.  There’s a lot more to look at here than at any other hotel where Drew and I have stayed.  Practically an art gallery in many ways, the paintings and sculptures in the lobby are drawing hotel guests to gaze at their beauty.  One large painting in particular, a Monet or something similar to it, has several people looking it over.  There at the bottom of the painting is group of black men who are watching me carefully.  My eyes make contact with some of them and I look away for a moment as I feel my face turn bright red.

Is it true? I ask quietly into my husband’s ear.

Is what true? he answers as he turns to look at me. 

I nod toward the group of young, dark men.  About black men.  Are they really bigger than other men?

Drew chuckles as little as he glances at them briefly.  I don’t know.  I’ve never fucked a black man.  We both laugh a little as he turns back around to face the man at the desk.  My husband jokes, but I’m serious with my inquiry.  I’ve had a couple of friends who have had sex with men of darker color, and one of them told me some time ago that the darker the man is, the bigger his cock is.  We were drinking at the time, so I’m not sure I can take her word for anything she said under the influence of alcohol.  Still, it would be fun to find out.

I begin to turn back around to face the check-in desk, but my eyes catch another man looking me over.  He’s young, dark-complexioned, and muscular.  Oh, wow, I say as my eyes look straight back into his. 

What’s that? Drew says as he looks over at me for just a moment.

Nothing, I answer as I feel myself blush again.  I continue to look at the young man, now standing beside a tall sculpture of a nude woman just twenty or so feet away.  As I study his physical features, his dark hair and eyes as well as his chiseled jawline, I think about what it would be like to be the naked sculpture just to his side.  Would I reach out and take hold of him if I were there?  Would he reach out and caress one of my naked breasts, making me wet and horny for him even more so than I already am?  I move my legs around a little and realize that I actually do have a little moisture forming between my labia already.  Oh, my.  I take a deep breath as the man’s stare penetrates me. 

So, for seven nights, correct? the man at the desk says to Drew.

I believe that is correct, yes.  My company should have already put a card on the account, so I will just need a receipt for the stay by the time I leave.

Very good, sir, the man replies.  I turn around to see him smiling in Drew’s direction, his eyes diverting for only a brief moment to look at me before he looks back at my husband.  Just now, I can see clearly that the man is gay and not interested in me.  He likes the way Drew looks.

I turn back to look at the man who was staring a hole through me just a moment ago, and he’s gone.  Looking around the hotel lobby, my heart patters hard as I try to find the stranger.  He’s gone and my soul aches for an opportunity lost.  Oh, how I wish I had at least walked over to him and had a short conversation with him.  He might not be interested in me, of course, but what if he were?  Shit, I mumble under my breath.

Just hang on, my husband says as he looks over at me again.  They’re getting a valet to take our things up to our room.  It will be a few minutes, though; they have a convention in town.

Yeah, of hot young men, I joke as I look back at Drew.  Damn, there’s a lot of candy in this candy store, honey. 

Easy, he chuckles while reaching down to take my hand.  Mellanie, you’re as bad as a teenage boy sometimes.

I stare up at my husband and reply, I’m not a boy, sweetheart.  I’m a woman and I need what I need when I need it. 

He laughs again as he looks around the lobby.  There are a lot of guys here tonight.  Of course, there’s going to be a lot of people in a place like this anyway, my dear.  This is one of the most popular resorts in the Virgin Islands. 

Yeah, I guess so, I respond as I watch the men in the lobby.  Where the fuck did he go, though?

"Where did who go, Mel?"

There was a man who had the most gorgeous face.  We were just looking at each other for a while and then...

My husband waits for me to finish my sentence, but when I don’t he says, Maybe he was a figment of your imagination, Mel.  Or, maybe you scared the shit out of him by staring him down with your lusty female eyes.  Drew laughs as he squeezes my hand. 

Here you are, sir, the man at the desk says to him.  My husband reaches out and takes the key cards and paperwork from the desk clerk before handing him an additional business card.  Take this as well.  I would consider it an honor if you would call me directly should you need anything tonight or in the coming days here at the hotel.  I am completely at your service.  The man smiles and bows slightly, causing me to almost let slip a giggle at the exchange.

Drew drops the card into his shirt pocket, unaware of what the man at the desk means by the offer.  Thank you very much.  We turn and walk to the side of the lobby to wait for someone to come get our luggage
