Chapter 1 ~ I'm Saved Now What!
You have now given your life to Jesus and He now owns you. As a believer you are a bondservant for the Lord in the sense you are obligated totally to Him because our Redeemer purchased us with His blood. You now have the power of His grace, mercy, righteousness, favor and His glory upon your life. You must present yourself a living sacrifice to the Lord dying to self
. Before Christ you were born physically alive but spiritually dead. After Christ you are put back into right position.
1 Corinthians 6:20 AMP You were bought with a price purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body. Now that you have accepted Christ you must have the power of Love. Love is the key to fulfilling all 10 commandments. Love is the high esteem that God has for us and is the high regard which we should have for Him and others. Love is like oil to the wheels of obedience. It enables us to run the way of God's commandments. Without love we are nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love. You must seek first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness. Change your old ways of doing and thinking and re-condition your thought pattern to the purposes and ways of the will of God not your own free will. As a believer you must be led by the Holy Spirit, and sacrifice your body to God, and you must be pure & holy unto Him in all your ways. You are called to readjust your yieldedness to the Lord, and this does not mean God wants you to act differently just to be different, but it means He wants us to deal with anything that grieves His Sprit. (We grieve Him when we say yes
to sin) and we (grieve Him when we say no
to His Spirit) by not being obedient to His word. He wants us to always walk in fear (respect) of Him, fully surrendering to Him, and experiencing the fullness of His Sprit in our lives. As you grow in Christ your level of obedience will grow stronger. Do not seek God for things; seek Him and the things will come.
Romans 12:1-2 NLT; Matthew 6:33 And so dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Than you will learn to know God's will for you which is good and pleasing and perfect. Do not worry,
