About this ebook

(Accidental Valentine is a standalone short story with little to no angst and
the insta-love of fated mates.)

Felipe Russo is a fainting goat shifter and a forensics analyst for the
Ravenwood Police Department. Felipe is smart, fantastic at his job, but
horribly accident prone thanks to his animal half. Felipe’s fainting habits
are present when he’s in his human form, so he’s always hurting himself in
some way. Felipe’s used to his nature by now and it doesn’t bother him,
until he meets his mate in a not so flattering way. With Valentine’s Day just
around the corner and Felipe’s friends’ determination to set him up on a
blind date, what could possibly go wrong? Add in the hunt for a criminal
and things are bound to take an interesting turn.

Torin Sanders is a doctor and wolf shifter new to Ravenwood. Having
been here for a week, the only person he really knows is Creed, his best
friend from medical school. They work at the town clinic together and
Creed, being happily mated is determined to see everyone around him just
as happy as he is even if it means pushing his friends together on a blind
date. Torin doesn’t expect to meet his mate in the form of an adorable
accident-prone man at the clinic, but he does. Only, something happens,
his mate flees, and now Creed won’t take no for an answer when it comes
to a Valentine’s Day date. What’s a man to do?

A disastrous blind date, pushy friends, a desperate criminal, and lots of
accidents are just a few of the things Torin and Felipe have to contend with
to get their happily ever after but, one thing’s for sure, the journey will
certainly be interesting.

Well Ezra isn't my real name obviously but I liked the name so I decided to use it. I live at home with my five dogs and one cat. I started out writing hetero romance novels but it wasn't where my heart lied. I adore all things paranormal and M/M is by far my favorite genre so I decided to start writing Paranormal Romances. There's a guaranteed happy ending with each of my books even if it may take some time for my guys to get there. I love each and every character on the page as if they were my own children. It sounds weird but that’s how I feel about them. ? I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember but only started actively pursuing it as a career three years ago when I decided to stop working in a salon and pursue writing full time. Since I published my first book in 2014 I have written and released nine other books with many more to come. My current list of projects is longer than my arm so I look forward to writing and creating new stories for my readers to enjoy ?

Life is made up of moments. Some good. Some bad. As a fainting goat shifter who faints in both my goat form and my human form, my life is made up of one embarrassing moment after another. I’ve gotten used to it and all the injuries that come with fainting whenever startled. While most superficial injuries will heal on their own after a shift some won’t heal correctly without a trip to the doctor. Since I seem to be the unluckiest person in the world, almost all the injuries I sustain after fainting seem to require a trip to the doctor.

I’m in there so often the entire staff has my name and medical history memorized. Thank goodness the town of Ravenwood is comprised of paranormals and humans aware of our world because if it wasn’t, every visit to the clinic would make it obvious that I’m not normal. Especially, when I’ve broken a bone and am back for something else all healed up three days later.

While Ravenwood is a small mountain town not everything is all roses. We do see our fair share of crime. Mostly because Ravenwood sits near the border between the United States and Canada and smugglers love off the beaten path routes. It’s also because with small towns comes a lack of things to do and when dealing with young paranormals who’ll live long lives, boredom becomes a problem that leads to troublemaking. Thankfully though, the increase in crime hasn’t been large enough to require hiring more people to the department.

As a forensic analyst for the Ravenwood police department, it’s my job to process the evidence for every case. Being the only analyst means I don’t have to worry about being startled by anyone and contaminating evidence by dropping it on the floor or knocking chemicals over onto it. I’ve been given free reign over the lab and everything in it, so I made sure to have things arranged so no matter where I’m working, I’m facing the door and can see when someone comes in.

Even if things weren’t facing the door I’d still know when someone enters the lab because I added a motion sensor that dings like the ones at department stores whenever anyone walks by it. It can get annoying but, I prefer annoying to making a mistake. I take my job seriously and I never want to be the person who’s solely responsible for a case getting thrown out because of something I could’ve avoided. I love my job. My father was a police officer and when I was a child, I always wanted to follow in his footsteps.

When I shifted for the first time and it became clear I was one of the rare ones to faint while in human form as well, I knew being a police officer was
