About this ebook

The book How much can you live, love & die? is a spiritual journey using poems and flash fictions, small stories through the process of love, life, grief and death. It was written over a span of 5 years and revolved around several experiences of my own as well as others I have met, been friends with and lived with, people know this one thing very well. The very process of life, death and love.
However, we are in so much of hurry that we forget to meet life as a whole. The book begins with love, journeys through life, grief and death and finally ends in love.
Love culminates birth and death.
Love is the center of all.

How Much Can We Live, Love & Die? - Thunder Ling

How Much Can We Live, Love & Die?

    Thunder Ling

    Preface

I dedicate this book to my sister who is a mirror to my follies.

I dedicate this book to my parents, my dog and cat who taught me to be a better person.

I thank all those bloggers who have till date liked my work.

The free verses are a standing testimony to love, life and death.

Introspection, a meditative state, an approach to understanding humans as a whole.

Human problems, human Instincts, human ethics and a life beyond such ethics, such feelings.

We live through ages and generations. Have we ever sat and thought how much more we need to live, love and keep dying? We are born, we live, struggle through pains, love all or love none, then one fine day we grow tired, we grow sick and we die.

How much more do we need to do this?

How much more should we repeat ourselves, again and again and again?

This collection tries to look at love, life and then death again recycles back to love, the culmination point of birth and death, I have often wondered how the Sun repeats itself, how everything repeats itself. Is that this is some form of a practice as they say; Practice makes a man perfect.

    About the Author

Thunder Ling derives her name from the two beauties she admires in this world.

The holiest, purest form of fire- Thunder and Thor.

The beam of radiance which has no end and no beginning, a perfect mandala which cannot be seen with our normal eyes. The essence, the origin of all forces- Shiva, Durga, Kali, Allah, Christ, Buddha, Lord Narayan.

All emerge from one and submerge into one.

The eternal oneness where no one is a man or a woman.

All is one. All live as one.

In her free time, she writes, dances, reads, and wishes to go for hiking alone or with closest friends amidst snow capped mountains.

She plans to climb the Chomolangma soon and requires support for her tryst. She day dreams on other times.

She stays with people she calls her family including her first family and her friends.

She has a blog from where these poems down her thoughts making into this collection.

Her poetry has been published by FemAsia Magazine, Spill words, and The International Poetry Digest. One more is upcoming in Vita Brevis.
