    Amazing Chocolate Cake Recipes - Ka El

    Moist black chocolate cake

    Ingredients

    250g butter

    5 large eggs, separated

    150-200g dark chocolate, melted

    220g sugar

    2 tablespoons cocoa powder

    200-220g common flour

    1-2teaspoon baking powder

    50g ground crackers (optional)

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180C. Slightly flour a cake pan.

    In a bowl beat the butter until creamy and light. Add the yolks, sugar and melted chocolate. Whisk until thickened.

    In another bowl sift together the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Add this mixture to the butter one and add the crushed cookies, if you like.

    In a third bowl beat the egg whites to snow. Add 50g of sugar and beat until firm peaks.

    Add 1/3 of the whites into the chocolate mix and stir to lighten the mixture. Add the rest of the egg whites and mix gently. Tip into the baking pan, smooth the surface and place into the oven.

    Bake for 60 minutes. Remove and let cool for 30-40 minutes before unmolding.

    Chocolate mousse cake

    Ingredients

    4 eggs

    4 tablespoons sugar

    3 tablespoons flour

    1 tablespoon rum

    200g chocolate

    4 tablespoons milk

    100g butter, cut into cubes

    1 pinch of salt

    Preparation

    Line a medium-sized pudding mold (450g) with foil and fill a larger dish than the pudding with water to cook in a water bath. Preheat the oven to 150C and leave the pudding to a water bath in the oven.

    In a bowl beat the yolks with the sugar, until it becomes clear and frothy. Add the flour and rum.

    In a medium saucepan melt the chocolate with the milk over low heat and then incorporate the shortening. Remove from the heat, add to the egg mixture and stir thoroughly.
