    1. Amount of sunlight. An important factor that you need to consider when choosing your organic vegetable garden’s location is the amount of sunlight that it normally gets. Vegetables typically require a minimum of six to eight hours of sun exposure on a daily basis, and it does not matter if they get the said amount of sunlight in the morning or in the afternoon.

    2. Drainage. Soil that is waterlogged cannot support the growth of organic vegetables. For this reason, choose a location that allows your garden to be a bit elevated. Picking a groove in the ground or the bottom part of a hill as a spot for your organic vegetable garden is a sure ticket to making an un-flourishing garden.
