About this ebook

Let's get one thing clear. The Internet doesn't exactly suffer from a shortage physical attraction book. There are all sorts of books out there, on Amazon and elsewhere that claim to teach guys how to become instantly magnetic.

You've probably seen their covers. They show guys attracting all sorts of women. They show guys surrounded by women who have seemingly fallen in love with them.

Some books focus on people on guys being able to connect in a business setting. Some are very sales-oriented and show people wearing business suits, shaking hands, and signing deals. They make a big deal about personal magnetism. However, the advice they share is all too predictable.

Magnetism on Command - Matt parker

    Introduction

Let’s get one thing clear. The Internet doesn’t exactly suffer from a shortage physical attraction book.

The problem is most people define personal magnetism the wrong way. They think that if you have a nice car, if you flash some jewelry, if you have the nice smile, if you have a lot of cash or you have rippling muscles that these attract other people. Almost all these other books pay too much attention and put too much weight on external indicators like power, prestige, and status.

Here's the problem. Most people don't see this. In fact, most people don't have the opportunity to see this.

When somebody first meets you, chances are they don't get to see your car. They definitely don't have an opportunity to see how many zeros follow a number in your bank account statement. Maybe they would see your muscles and whatever jewelry you have on your body, but these are usually not enough to go on. Most people are looking for something else.

If this isn’t bad enough, a lot of people are under the impression that personal magnetism is about what people have to do. They think that you have to talk a big game. There’s this idea that you have to talk about yourself and bang your own drum to try to convince others of certain things.

What are these things that we're trying to convince others to believe? First of all, we have to do something to try to convince others that we're worth paying attention to. This somehow leads to us being viewed as attractive or desirable.

What if I told you that personal magnetism actually works in a completely different way? Please understand that while there will be some people who’ll be attracted to you if you try to convince them or if you try to flash some cash or some sort of external indication of status.

For most people, this is not going to be enough. For most people, the usual tricks that a lot of these books try to teach you simply won't do. You come off as fake. People might assume that you’re just simply trying too hard. In many cases, you stick out like a sore thumb. People suspect your motives. Finally, a lot of people are simply tired of formulas.

It is no surprise that many people react this way because people don’t like to feel that they are being tracked. People are big on authenticity. They want the real thing.

Unfortunately, we are surrounded by people who are convinced that authenticity is their enemy. They want to be everything except real.

In this book, I’m going to teach you how to instantly turn on your personal magnetism without resorting to the usual tricks. This magnetism is rooted in the solid bedrock of mutual comfort. That's the bottom line.

You don't have to be somebody else. You don't have to pretend to be someone else. You just have to focus on what you have to offer and, believe me, everybody has something to offer. One of the biggest lies that keep getting repeated over and over again in the mass media and among social circles is that you have to be like somebody else for you to be liked. You have to deny yourself for you to be likable.

This is why so many people fail. Whatever relationships they develop are shallow because they're based on a lie. Thankfully, there is a better alternative.

    Chapter 1

    What is Personal Magnetism Anyway?

Before we dive into activating and leveraging the personal magnetism, you’re capable of, let's clearly define our objective. What is it?
