La maggior parte dei maghi, al di là delle proprie capacità tecniche, non sanno esattamente cosa dire mentre presentano le loro routine magiche.Alcuni di loro fanno una sorta di telecronaca di ciò che stanno eseguendo, descrivendo in modo maldestro un effetto con parole inverosimili di cui neanche loro sono convinti.Altri, peggio ancora, sono talmente logorroici da credere di essere comunque interessanti qualsiasi cosa dicano e in qualsiasi modo la dicano.
Cosa dire e come dirlo assume un significato ancora più forte ed importante quando si parla di magia comica per bambini, perché il giovane pubblico è molto più interessato alla storia con cui si presenta un effetto piuttosto che alla tecnica per realizzarlo.Fatta questa premessa si capisce come sia fondamentale il modo con cui si presenta un effetto magico; una presentazione briosa e coinvolgente rende un normale effetto una vera magia agli occhi dei bambini.Al contrario anche l’effetto più magico se presentato in modo pedante e noioso perde completamente la sua magia.
In questo libro, più che sulle tecniche magiche si insisterà tantissimo sulla presentazione della routine cercando di dare nuovi spunti e nuovo vigore ai classici giochi di magia comica per bambini.
È chiaro che per potersi concentrare sulla “parola”, bisogna avere la massima padronanza tecnica dell’effetto che si sta presentando; una buona presentazione non deve servire a sopperire lacune tecniche bensì deve far in modo di enfatizzare le proprie capacità artistiche.
Quando sei davanti ad una platea di bambini a volte è difficile farsi ascoltare e soprattutto farsi capire; non basta quindi sapere cosa dire ma è fondamentale sapere come fare a dirlo.Prima di tutto usa un tono di voce forte e chiaro e se ne hai la possibilità è sempre meglio avere un impianto microfonico con l’amplificazione adeguata.Scandisci sempre bene le parole aiutandoti con la mimica facciale e con ampi gesti corporei per supportare ciò che stai dicendo.
È importante dare la stessa importanza a tutto il pubblico e questo si ottiene mantenendo un contatto visivo globale e cercando di coinvolgere tutti i presenti, anche i più distratti.Crea sempre un aspettativa in quello che stai per fare e per questo non svelare mai in anticipo l’effetto di un gioco;tanto maggiore sarà il loro stupore quanto meno sapranno cosa li aspetta.Costruisci insieme ai bambini lo spettacolo riducendo al minimo i tempi morti e le pause così da mantenere sempre alta la loro attenzione.
Voce forte e decisa, parole semplici e chiare, gestualità e mimica facciale, fantasia e ritmo e soprattutto una bella presentazione e il gioco è fatto…siamo pronti per cominciare!!!
