The reader should realise that I am not a professional author or a professional writer, and the English language is not my mother tongue. This statement is in a way my excuse for any language deficiencies. I have made sure that the guide reads easy. It is intended to be this way, accessible for all those that need this guide.

Unfortunately, I wrote the guide in the English language, and I used writing. Therefore, only people who can read and understand the English language can benefit from this guide.

I have a friend who had the first edition of this guide translated in the Russian language, thereby ensuring that people who understand and can read Russian have a benefit as well. Thanks very much for this!

During the period that medical specialists treated me for cancer, and these specialists and I knew for sure that I was on my way out of this life, various people have been there to give me the strength of going through the periods of doubt and pain. My wife Anne was of course always there and a lot of what I wrote in this guide has been discovered by her, and with her. I will not mention anybody else by name, but those involved received a copy of this guide, and they will know that I will always be in their debt.

One of the worst things that happen in a period like what I went through is to get the feeling that we are completely alone, as nobody will understand, and nobody can help. Such a feeling is not a correct, there are lots of people who can help in some way or other, and it is the feelings of doubt, fright, and being alone that need conquering.

I will write more about feelings when I address the spiritual part in the last chapter of this guide, but for now, I would like to make the following statement:

After everything that I went through, I have committed to help anybody who is in need, and who wants, my help. Therefore, I commit to listening to anybody who gets in contact with me, and I will assist such a person with how to prepare and how to follow a vegan-vegetarian diet. However, this commitment goes much deeper now, as I also deal with spiritual development. Anybody who feels lost when trying to follow their unique spiritual path can get in contact. Do not expect money donations, as I am not rich, or expect wonder cures because I am not a medic. Expect to find somebody who went through very harsh circumstances, and who will listen and give advice whenever this is appropriate.
