Sitting in my GP’s office, I felt nervous as I waited for him to tell me what was wrong with me.
‘This is normal,’ he said. ‘All periods are like this.’
So, I’m going to be in this much pain for the rest of my life? I thought, confused.
My period didn’t feel normal, it was excruciating and every month when it came I felt like throwing up.
