Along Came Hope

About this ebook
Inflammatory breast cancer is the most aggressive type of breast cancer. In this book, Along Came Hope, I share with you my experience and the choices I made along the way to follow a holistic approach.
As I regard my body as a temple for my journey on earth, I could not follow the traditional treatment of toxic chemotherapy and radiation. This meant that I had to find gentler ways to boost my immune system and get my own soldiers into action to fight any cancer cells.

Dedication
This book I dedicate to my precious family and friends for their loyal support, love and kindness. They have been a true pillar of strength. Even when I felt a bit despondent, they would find the time to come and share a little moral support with me.
On the days that I did not know how to start, they were always ready to encourage me to persist. Never give up HOPE! This is absolutely my motto.
I could not have asked for a more supportive family. Thank you so much for encouraging me to continue and write this book so that I can share my experience, and the knowledge which I have gained, on my quest to help my body fight cancer without doing anything that would compromise my immune system.
It has been my choice all along to search for safer methods of allowing my body to fight cancer, and help it heal itself. As it is my belief that I may not harm my body, which is my temple given to me by God for my journey on Earth, I must ask for God’s guidance and do all I can to help heal by using methods which are not harmful.
Thank you, one and all. Friends, family and those who have shared information with me, may you be blessed.
Please help me continue to share the message of HOPE, LOVE and FAITH in GOD. God created everything, including our medicine. We need to have the faith and persistence to ask for His guidance and then apply what we are led to understand.
Introduction
In my previous book, Hope beyond Cancer, I described my journey when I was diagnosed in 2013 with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, and told that I did not have three months to live. This diagnosis was really scary and changed my life in seconds.
Inflammatory Breast Cancer is the most aggressive type of Breast Cancer. In this book, Along Came HOPE, I share with you my experience and choices I made along the way to follow an Holistic approach.
As I regard my body as a temple for my journey on earth, I could not follow the traditional treatment of toxic chemotherapy and radiation. This meant that I had to find gentler ways to boost my immune system, and get my own soldiers into action to fight any cancer cells.
I give details about diet, supplements, exercise and lifestyle changes I made. It is my prayer that the knowledge I have gained to help myself, and by explaining the adjustments I have made, will be of some assistance to somebody else who possibly walks the same path. My lifestyle, diet and mind set has changed considerably, and all these changes I share with you, my readers.
A little more than a year after my mastectomy, I was quite settled on my new eating plan and calmer lifestyle. I became aware of a burning sensation on the left side of my chest. At first I thought this was caused by scar tissue of the previous operation. After a while I realised that I was unknowingly touching and rubbing the same area quite often. This led me to go for another sonar just to put my mind at ease. I share more detail in this book.
With a strong faith in God as my healer and comforter, I continue to fight cancer and carry my message as far as possible that we are never to give up HOPE. The quality of one’s life is of paramount importance, and we all deserve to enjoy as much as possible of our lives. I believe that we are placed on this Earth to gain and share knowledge, experiences and help create a safe and happy environment for all God’s creatures.
Do realise that I am not a medical professional and do not intend to mislead or misinform anybody with my book. It is purely my journey which I share and pray that it helps somebody
