PART ONE
Children’s Rhymes and Poems
304309-ELSE-layout-low.pdfMy numbers and alphabet
One, Two, three,
Sing with me.
Four, five,
Enjoy your life.
Six, seven, eight,
Let your heart beat.
Nine, ten,
Surely, you’ll win.
A, B, C,
Repeat after me.
D, E, F,
Don’t be stiff.
G, H, I,
Don’t cry.
J, K, L,
All’ll be well.
M, N, O,
Soon you shall grow.
P, Q, R,
You’ll be a star.
S, T, U,
Let’s start anew.
V, W, X,
Voices don’t mix.
Y, Z,
For every kid.
Now it’s ended.
The numbers were learned.
The letters were provided.
My numbers
Oh my son!
Allah is one.
You should know;
Your parents are two.
Look at our family tree;
Brothers and sisters are three.
Grandparents are four;
Now make sure.
Friends are five;
The fun of life.
Six is the age
To start primary stage.
Seven are days of the week;
Five days and the break.
Eight is the period of your sleep
Thus, your body you’ll keep.
Nine is the time to go to bed
In order to keep your body and head.
Ten is the number of your fingers
As small as lady’s fingers.
Repeat the numbers from one to ten;
Start school as brave as men.
Our school
Our school, the pride of all,
Big and small, short and tall.
All share one goal,
One heart and soul.
With a good staff
In work are tough,
We have what’s enough.
Manzala is where it lies,
Experiments it does and tries
To soar the language skies.
It’s science we only seek;
We seek no other fake,
That’s why we won’t be meek
To deserve what we take;
As the prophet’s sayings dictate.
Nursery School
The nursery school, enjoyable for all;
Children are small,
Mostly they aren’t tall.
They grow up day by day,
They learn as they play,
They learn what they may
Need along their way
As much as we can say.
They learn Arabic and arts;
Often they play
